Sesame seeds are very similar to other sesame seeds that I have ever used, with the exception that they have to be roasted, which is a very simple process. A sesame seed with a hull is something I have never seen.
Seeing as I just threw away the bag, I can tell you how delicious and fresh the nuts are. I have not yet roasted and made tahini with them but I fully intend to do so soon.
Raw is the only way to describe them. This is a good product.

When I saw in the package that it was "product of China", I refused to even open The enforcement of food safety in China has a very poor record It has been reported that Chinese citizens living near the Russian border regularly cross the border to purchase Russian food items. I don't trust their own system, and neither do they. In the future, when China establishes its own FDA-like agency and enforces food safety to the fullest, I will buy Chinese food. As someone who has travelled to China and studied Mandarin, I am a fan of the country, but won't put my health at risk In the unfortunate event I have to return the item for a refund, I cannot do so.

I have had Tahini from these sesame seeds that is far superior to anything that I have ever had in a store or at home. During the toasting process, the seeds gave off an earthy aroma.
