In my experience, mixing separate 2 eggs and 3 cups water, and then blending them together, while adding the remaining ingredients (such as milk and spices) as you go is the best. Ensure the other powdered items have been rehydrated before mixing them into the mixture. In my experience, when the powders are mixed before hydration they end up sloppy and unfavorable.
It is my understanding that the 4 ounce package is the smallest.

I had read the directions but did not follow them and added hot water to the food as you would to most other trail foods. Exactly the same thing is not the case here. After adding water, add the food to the pot.
