I have it here for you! It is the recently lost spice that is missing from most people's It is a great relief to be able to find this important spice! There is no longer any way to find it in any supermarket
5/5

I have looked everywhere. Amazon was my go-to site until I tried it. In the culinary world, thyme is commonly used in many cooking styles including French and continental. In recipes, Savory is distinct enough to be regarded as an Umame element, as it contains the greatest amount of umami! Make rice pilaf with a bit of pepper, oregano, and bay leaves, as well as some pepper! Use seasoned chicken stock or bullion in place of salt when frying your rice in butter or oil. Make sure your rice is lightly toasted and use a little butter or oil for sautéing . It makes a great rice Pilaf because of its great flavor!.

For diets low in acid, this is a great alternative to vinegar
5/5

Thanks to the internet, I was able to find Savory because there was only one store anywhere near me that sold it, but I hardly went As part of my effort to lower acid levels in my diet and cope with several health issues, I read that savory can take the place of vinegar in certain Until I made potato logs, I had never used it. By first cutting each half in half lengthwise, then cutting each large wedge in half, you'll get such a sizeable wedge. Place the wedges in a pan of warm (not boiling) water and let them stand for ten Let the water drain and pat it You need to preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Lay out potato logs on a baking pan, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and savory. Bake for about 20 minutes. There's nothing like a little bit of savory to brighten up this dish. A few drops of olive oil will work, just enough to cover the potatoes. By mixing the potatoes with your hands, you will ensure that they have a seasoning on all sides. The potato logs should be separated by about a little space on the pan and should cook for a little under You want everything to be cooked well, so flip each potato wedge over and cook for another 10 minutes or so. It's interesting how this made them taste like the fries with vinegar some fish places have.

I'm looking forward to experimenting with the savory next to make a low acid salad dressing.

The flavor is fantastic
5/5

It is of good If I did not become savory I would have had to give up cooking with this amazing When I had this for the first time, I was on vacation in Nova Scotia. I fell in love with it and was so disappointed when I discovered it's hard I have been growing both winter and summer savory for many years, but due to the drought, I stopped growing plants that need water. This is a good deal on Amazon - I'm so glad to see it The ordering process is simple as well. My absolute favorite part of Amazon Prime is the fact that I can access the world from home.

It is made from all natural flavors of McCormick Gourmet, ground spicy
5/5

visiting a LOT of stores and being unable to locate it, I decided to buy it online. I took it as far as purchasing 3 bottles which I will use gingerly to prolong its shelf life a little bit. The scarcity of this food gave me the impression it was manna from God! The other thing I learned is that savory comes in two different kinds I'm looking forward to summer and I'm looking forward to This is a savory winter dish. Keeping up with new things and sharing knowledge with others are two of my favorite things. You need to forget about this product if you are looking for it in stores. Don't bother to search for it everywhere else. Order it online and you won't waste a moment. Given all the hassles I had to go through, it better taste as good as I expect it to taste. My experience with the old one that I used a while back was quite enjoyable when I made beans. I have not used it yet, so can't comment on flavor.

Having this in the pantry is a good idea
5/5

It was the first time I heard the word savory. The term winter savory refers to one with a cooler temperature. The herb parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme or marjoram is often used to flavor savory dishes. My life was made much easier after I purchased this and used it before I even knew what was in it. In the recipe, it is called for me to brine the meat. This was the first time I used the brining recipe, and it worked well! I love the scent - The season of autumn is the best!.

Spices are one of the best things you can eat
5/5

I'm pleased to have found this spice on Amazon. It's a shame that our local supermarkets don't carry it, so I'm delighted to have found it there. This is an essential part of cooking for me. The majority of our meals include this ingredient. In case you've never tried it, I would say it is very similar to thyme in a way or maybe like a cross between thyme and oregano. It is especially good with eggs, poultry or any sort of dessert. That's ok, you can do everything with it.

If you haven't tried it, I recommend you not purchase it until you do

It was just because the reviews were good that I bought it. Wow, tasting is so subjective. I only tried a little bit of it and I wasn't impressed with the flavor at all The feeling of almost throwing up almost hit me. I didn't like it and I didn't like it If you haven't tried it, I recommend you not purchase it until you do.
