I honestly don't know, but they aren't filthy and we haven't had any issues with them. I use them in my lemon cakes.br> It's quite delicious!

They were ready to use right out of the jar. They are completely devoid of moisture.

I'm wondering if these will germinate. ?

I haven't attempted it. I'm not sure they'd germinate, though.

In a homemade salad dressing, it's fantastic

I use a lot of Simply Organic's products, and these poppy seeds I bought for a Summer Greens Salad are fantastic. This recipe for Strawberry Salad looked too good to pass up. The recipe did not disappoint, and because of the nutritional value of poppy seeds, I've been making it frequently since I made the investment in really good poppy seeds. Okay, okay, the strawberries are also a big draw. br>br>Unfortunately, now that they can move around more freely outside of the bottle, the poppy seeds have organized themselves, sticking gleefully and with gay abandon inside the narrow neck of the glass salad dressing jar in which I store the last of a batch of homemade dressing. That isn't the product's fault, so I went looking for a solution and discovered the versatile.

For $4, you get a quarter gallon of water. I've looked in a lot of different stores for poppy seed. Most of them aren't going to sell them, and the ones that do are only going to sell for $1. I bought this one because it was 25 oz for $4 dollars, and I didn't want to pay much more for a cake. I've already tried it and really liked it. These poppy seeds have a pleasant aroma, almost as if they were freshly picked, and they tasted good as well. I'll keep buying from this store.

I couldn't find these in any of my local grocery stores, so I was glad to see that Amazon had them in a small quantity for a reasonable price; they're poppy seeds, after all, and they definitely seemed very fresh and of good quality, adding that subtle extra taste and texture that poppy seeds are supposed to provide.

Simply Organic Products are something I really enjoy

I used to buy larger bulk jars of poppy seed, but I found that I didn't use them quickly enough, and the flavor faded. This is a delicious poppy seed with the perfect size for occasional use. I've purchased a number of this company's herbs and spices, and they're all excellent. So far, everything I've purchased has been delicious and fresh. They come highly recommended from me. They have a reasonable price. The fact that they're organic is an added bonus.
