According to the headline, Reismans' product is a little different than what my mother and grandmother used to make, but it's still delicious. This is fantastic! IMHO. On one side, the aluminum pan was a little stuck. Some of the filling was leaking from time to time. This is amazing! As if made at home, there are flaws! My sample was moist and baked to perfection. The amount of filling was ample. My guess is that the honey claimed in the ingredients accounts for the flavor difference between what I had decades ago in Mom's and Grandma's kitchens. Considering the cost of delivery, it's a good deal. Try it if you don't know what it is. Also, notice the lack of modern monsters in the ingredient list. I'm going to order some more!.

I've tried numerous times to make her poppy seed roll recipe, but it never comes out right. When I received the two packages of Poppy Seed Roll, it smelled so good that I just cut two pieces and ate them slowly, enjoying each bite; the flavor was sweet with a hint of vanilla, delicious, and reminded me of my Grandmother's recipe; I was overjoyed. My husband and I ate one poppy seed roll that we had in the fridge for two weeks, and we decided to freeze the other poppy seed roll so we could enjoy it around Christmas. Thank you very much for the quick delivery via Prime. I was overjoyed at how quickly I received it. The poppy seed rolls were fresh (no green mold found in our two packs), smelled great, tasted great, and were extremely tasty. It takes a lot of self-control not to devour the entire book in one sitting. Comes in a plastic container with a plastic bag wrap, is extremely fresh and moist, and is the real deal for potential Slavic or Hungarian customers. Because I keep mine in the fridge, putting a slice in the microwave for 20 seconds only softens it. As good loaves should be, these are brimming with poppy seeds and thin layers of dough. I've placed an order for two more, in the hopes of having some left over by Christmas.
The cake is moist, but I noticed that when it was sliced, the top crumbled. Yes, it helped in some ways. SO WHAT! I evaluate a cake based on its flavor rather than its appearance. This one has the same flavor as Babcha's, and Babcha was from Ukraine, so it brought back many happy memories. The cost was. . . It's impossible to top this. I expected to be disappointed with my purchase for ten dollars, but that was not the case. It tasted fantastic.

I have to write a review; I don't usually write reviews, but this time I will because the flavor is outstanding and the texture just bursts in your mouth. The value is also excellent; I was surprised at how low-cost it is. price was fantastic; on these you cannot get better than the shipping for pastries, the shipping for this came in a priority box and wrapped with pop. The shipping was within 30 days for these pastries, the shipping was within 15 days for those products from another place. Although I grew up in Kansas, as a matter of fact I am moving out, they sell so well that I would never choose anything else. Plus I want to buy anything over and over and over again; this is the perfect treat.
My mother, who is 75 and lives in Florida but is originally from the Northeast, has always loved poppy seed bread but has never been able to find it where she lives. You'd think I gave her a million dollars when I found your bakery on Amazon and sent her one for her 75th birthday! She absolutely adores it and claims that it tastes EXACTLY like her Austrian grandmother's homemade version! Thank you so much for assisting me in bringing joy to my mother!.
I was extremely disappointed when I received it after reading the reviews. It has no resemblance to my mother's Hungarian poppy seed rolls. I couldn't finish a single bite because it was sticky and sickeningly sweet, probably due to the honey, which wasn't used in the original recipe. I threw out the one I cut and donated the other to a food bank. However, I must point out that the rolls were extremely fresh and well packaged. I just wish they had used the original recipe; if you like a lot of honey, these rolls might be for you.
