Questions & Answers
This is regular black/blue poppy seed.
Very clean and useless for anything other than body scrub. Simply follow the greed to see how Amazon decided which seed brand to keep on their market. Frontier is one of the nastiest seeds on the market, smelling like every spice except poppy seeds kept in the warehouse by the company that handles the orders. They take seeds that may be worth around $3 per pound, slap a $20 price tag on them, and WHAM, the greed begins. At least a 500% mark, I would guess- It's disgusting and EVIL, and whoever paid $20 for these seeds deserved to lose their money. To be honest, I'm relieved they got rid of the seeds. I actually thank Amazon for encouraging me to look for a couple of places that care about small businesses and their customers. Overall, these seeds are not organic (which is how they justify the $20 price tag), and while they may not be "washed" with water, they have been heavily processed somewhere along the supply chain between supplier and retailer. Let's see if my response to your question is acceptable for posting on the board. LOL Best of luck on your quests for much better places to spend your HARD-EARNED money, and many blessings to you all. Well, to humans, at least, and no, Mr. Bezos, corporations are not people. No flavor.
Frontier has a history of being dependable, and this is no different. I'm not sure how popular poppy seeds are, but I often find them to be old and bland (presumably because they've been sitting around for who knows how long). knows- how- long) due to the fact that they are not a high-end product. Seed is being sold. br>I'm glad I got them from Frontier; they're great. They're both delicious and fresh.
The flavor is fantastic. This is my second time using this brand, and I am pleased with it.
I couldn't believe how excited I was to get organic poppy seeds until I tried them. They don't have a strong flavor, and they don't resemble poppy seeds in any way. If anything, they taste like stale pepper from a long time ago. I threw it all out.
Yuck.
These aren't kosher in any way; they're bland, dry, and smelly after being processed or washed.
The packaging, the price, and the fact that it's organic all add up to a great product.
Excellent value for money.
