Does the product contain a defect or is it fake? I found the scent on opening to be stale, without any hint of ginger aroma that I would get from the McCormick brand ground ginger available In the end, I could not find any ginger flavor in this at all after seasoning my food with it

It was a good value for the price

It was nice to have McCormick Ground Ginger in such a large package. The bottle is small enough to last quite awhile and not be so large that you end up throwing out a lot once it has gone off. This is one item I use to enliven my homemade pies as well as give them a nice gingery taste. Pumpkin pie is especially good with this spice. The spices at McCormick help me become a more talented chef. If only the mouth of the bottle were bigger, I would be able to fit my measuring spoon in there.

The flavor of dried powdered ginger is awesome! The reason I bought this is that ginger is hard to find where I live and I love making curries and Asian dishes

The ginger powder I use for these recipes is so tasty, and I usually add it to some oil or butter before mixing in the other ingredients to really bring out the flavor. I will definitely buy again when I run out!.

Quite a bargain for a big bottle of wine

Because smaller sizes are more expensive in stores, I was rather surprised when the bottle was so much bigger than what I was expecting. The fact that ground ginger is so hard to find at such a great price was a great bonus. It was a happy purchase!.
