It lacks a lot of For it to be comparable to fresh ginger, you would have to double or triple the amount of dried ginger you used. In my opinion, I will not be purchasing this product It claims to save you time on shaving or slicing ginger, but I'm not using it since I don't need ginger. If you have ginger on hand, you can just use a food processor and freeze what you don't need. The flavor will be so much greater than this McCormick product, but it won't be as potent as fresh ginger.

This ginger is my favorite and I use it primarily on bagels for breakfast. It is a great addition to breakfast times, and I use about 8 I order about 4 ounces per month of this great product.
