The flavor and heat of real ginger are what I've been looking for. I'm on the lookout for a large supply of ginger that is both tasteful and dependable. Trying other brands was not a problem for me, but I was disappointed with the results. My mother used to bake and cook with the seasonings my mom used to use when I was a child. When I stumble upon the Mccormick brand I come to remember it all from my childhood. grandmother and mother bought black pepper only when it was in a metal tin. lol) I was glad to see that they have maintained the quality of flavor that matches It was a happy dance for me to end up trying so many kinds of powdered ginger. As a result of purchasing a McCormick after being thoroughly dissatisfied with another purchase of sawdust, I ordered a McCormick today. I could smell ginger from the open lid even before I got to my coffee, and I knew it was real ginger right away! In my farming community, we planted, peeled, and dried ginger for sale, so I have a very good sense of how ginger should smell and taste. Tonight, I'm having a cup of coffee, and my mouth is on fire because of it. I like it just the way it is! I found that there was very little dreg or sediment in this beverage, and the flavor was superb!.
