guess, I would say it is just like what I used to buy at Whole Foods. I'm not sure what TJ's offers but don't see any reason to think it could be I can only tell the difference between the 2 from the first. A 5 lb bag of beans comes vacuum sealed and is much fresher than the packaged packets. In order to keep it from drying out, I do place the package in four small zip lock bags. have to deal with one about once every two months.

Having tried several brands, I find that this brand consistently delivers the best results. Pieces are tender but not mushy, evenly coated with sugar without being caked on, sliced thinly and do not contain a lot of (In my opinion, woody pieces inevitably occur in the product and are part of its nature. Despite getting some woody ones now and then, none have been inedible until now. also prefer thin slices over chunks, so I might be partial to this brand as well. Although I have diabetes, eating a few slices of this doesn't appear to affect my blood sugar significantly. My favorite thing about this treat is that it contains ginger, which has so many health benefits. Using this relieves nausea if I feel it coming on and when I do I really feel better. As it is, the package comes in a rigid plastic that rips easily. I wish there was a resealable bag instead. You are able to remedy this easily by using a zip-lock.

This is a 5 star product. My apologies for the delay Ordered again now and this time it was a totally different and totally unidentifiable item from It's Delish really did sell these pieces in small random pieces with skins and fibers and they were reddish in color and branded It's Delish not SweetGourmet as described in There is no picture or description that resembles what is pictured. While it tastes about the same, it's still a bit more difficult or less visually appealing. For the same price, it is obvious that the quality is poorer. 2 stars. It is a compromise between the two with this 3 star rating.
Dice sized pieces come to mind when I hear the name. They are tiny, pea-sized pieces that look more like crumbles than anything else. It is a shame there are so few pieces because the coating is so thick, it completely overpowers the ginger, rendering it tasteless.

The pieces are very thin and dry, and many of them are so fibrous that it is impossible to chew half of them and leave the remainder as tasteless threads. Neither ginger nor sugar has as strong of a flavor as each other. There is no high quality crystallized ginger in this product.
