WOW! AN EXCELLENT INVESTIGATION! br>br>I NEVER CAME ACROSS THIS IN THE AD BEFORE I PURCHASED! I bought it because it said GRANULATED on the package! br>br>NOTHING IS LISTED ON MY BOTTLE IN REGARDS TO THE INGREDIENTS! br>br>I suppose all the dreadful "Other Ingredients" from the U.S. Chemical Corporations are being PROTECTED and are being used in "Health" Supplements. THE FACT THAT I HAVE ROUTINELY INGESTERED THEM IN "HEALTH" SUPPLEMENTS FOR YEARS UNTIL ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO (WHICH THE EU PROHIBITS), AND THE FACT THAT I HAVE INGESTERTED THEM IN "HEALTH" SUPPLEMENTS FOR YEARS UNTIL ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO, ARE FINALLY AFFECTING ME! Duh! Clearly, there is Salt and Garlic, but we have no way of knowing how this was GRANULATED or if "Other Ingredients" were added to keep it from CLUMPING. - THIS IS MY BEST PERSONAL PREDICTION YES! br>br>Congratulations on a job well done! br> br>It says it all on the bottle. Product of China, packed in the United States!
Garlic, in fact, is gluten-free.
This is definitely granular! br>br>Unlike garlic powder, it does not float in the air! br>br>At first, use sparingly because it has a stronger flavor than other Garlic Sources I've tried. br>br>The Grains are slightly smaller than Salt, and I LOVE it on MY Garlic Bread with Parmesan or Romano cheese, as well as Basil Flakes!

If I had known, I would not have placed an order. I received a credit from Amazon and was told not to return the item. Perhaps the monetary value was insufficient to justify the shipping costs, and it will now be discarded.
The garlic tastes exactly like garlic should, and the price is reasonable. However, despite the name, this is not Granulated Garlic. This is garlic powder (and it's a finer ground powder than most people are used to seeing). In the grand scheme of things, it's not that important, but it's a misleading description. It is Powder, not Granulated, if it is ground into a fine powder. In terms of flavor, there is a distinction. look and feel measurement, and it's clear that the label was designed to make this product appear to be something it isn't, or it would have been called what it is- Garlic Powder is what it is.
My neighbor used to grow it, and while real dried granulated garlic is potent, this isn't nearly as strong. Even if you use a lot of them, they're still good. I'm hoping it's free of asbestos and lead.
For the garlic portion of SPG, this is what you'll use. 1 represents the proportion of Kosher Salt to Ground Black Pepper. Garlic that has been ground into a powder. There's no need to spend a lot of money on the expensive pre-made ones. Even though it's all good, there's a bit of a mishmash of material. Make your own concoction. SPG can be used for almost anything, including meats, vegetables, and soups. If you're doing ribs, it works well as a base layer after the mustard and before the Red Rib Rub.
Prior to this, I used Spicely Organic Granulated Garlic, which has a wonderful flavor. This Amazon brand version isn't only lacking in flavor, but the flavor that is present is also lacking in quality. "Product of China, packed in the United States," it says on the bottle, so take that for what it's worth. (To be fair, I'm seeing things differently now. ) A California Proposition 65 carcinogen warning appears on the Spicely brand garlics. Not what I would expect from a certified organic product!)br>br>I will not be purchasing again.
Garlic salt and powder (as well as onion powder) do not agree with me and, for some reason, give me a stomach ache. Granulated garlic, rather than fresh garlic, was recommended by my mother as a much better substitute.
The first thing I noticed was that it didn't overpower me with garlic when I opened the jar, as some other less expensive products do. If you like the smell of good pizza or authentic Italian grinders, you'll enjoy this. It reminded me of better-made spaghetti sauces or the interior of a genuine Italian diner. There were no clumps or chunks when I poured it out of the jar. Overall, this is a useful product to have on hand.
Garlic powder is what you're looking for if you're looking for something different There are no granules in it.
