There is a significant difference between this and other ground flaxseed that I have used. The mixture turned into a paste when I mixed a tablespoon with a little water. I feel confident using it as a ingredient.
There is a picture on the website that I think is incorrect. On the package the macros are 4, 5 grams of fat, 3 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of protein for 1 tbsp or 11 grams.

I am on the diet right now. This is a low carb product that I got to make a quick muffin in a mug for breakfast. Before this brand I bought Bob's brand, which was also good, but I like this one better as it's finely milled compared to They both turn out well, and the muffins are tasty. It is particularly tasty when made with frozen blueberries, frozen blackberries, or frozen raspberries. The breakfast is quick, and I even prepare a few ahead in small containers such as takeaways or anchor glass lidded containers, so all I have to do each morning is grab my cooking spray, my egg, my oil, and my berries and microwave them.
This flax meal is wonderful! My Vitamix quit working so I ordered this. Normally I grind my own, but after it died this was what I ordered. There is nothing as fluffy and pillowy as this stuff! Flax "eggs" take a bare minimum of two minutes to make because the flax soaks up water so rapidly. I plan on purchasing again even though my new blender arrived.

I took Wal-Mart's brand for a few weeks prior to trying Anthony's The organic flaxseed now available at Mart's. There is a fine ground option, but it isn't the premier product. I switched over to Anthony's Flaxseed and it isn't just a fine ground product, but it's superior Now that Anthony's Flaxseed has enabled me to live a healthier life, I am very glad I found it. There is also a fun phrase inside the package that says, "Please do not look under the bag. ". My reply was, "I searched for it, but I won't tell you what I found!".
