We keep it in the fridge and it keeps its potency for a long time.
It all depends on which blender you're using. I have a Bosch universal blender that can grind these seeds to a fine powder. I pour in some milk and blend for a few minutes on high speed. Soaking the seed in water overnight softens it, making it easier to blend. br>br>They have a mild bitter aftertaste, but it's not enough to keep you from eating the soaked seeds. If these seeds deliver on their promises, a minor bitter taste is worth it, and it can be easily disguised with other ingredients.
There are no cautionary statements here. I bought mine about two years ago (and I still have some, though they don't sprout anymore). Egypt is the source of this Kosher certified product. There is no evidence that the seeds are carcinogenic, and they have been used as a medicine for centuries. Pesticides could be mentioned on the label. I need to get some more, but I'm not sure I'll be able to because I'll be growing my own.

It's fantastic for hair growth! I soaked the seeds in cold water overnight, then collected the water in a spray bottle and used it twice a week to spray my hair. There was a decrease in shedding that I noticed. My 4b/c hair felt like it had been treated with protein after using the solution.
For five months, I drank tea made from this all day and didn't notice a significant improvement in my lungs' ability to breathe. br>It isn't particularly tasty, but it is a flavor that develops over time. br>I simply scooped 3 tablespoonfuls into a coffee mug, added boiling water, stirred it a little, and then placed my tablespoon on top to keep the floating seeds in place. In the next 15 minutes, the seeds will sprout and open up. Then I added sugar to it to give it a bittersweet flavor, and I drank it. It didn't seem to produce much flavor, which I suppose is a good thing. I would occasionally take a deep breath of the steam, which may have been more beneficial than drinking it. Overall, I'm not sure if Fenugreek is beneficial to your lungs.
2 teaspoons of fruit and/or vegetable juice in a blender acts as a natural laxative, reduces belly swelling, and aids in healing; It is beneficial to those who have diabetes, digestive, or respiratory problems; It's fantastic, in my opinion.
Fenugreek seeds from a local organic store soften and begin to sprout 8 to 12 hours after being placed in water, whereas hard seeds do not begin to sprout after 24 hours of soaking.
I grind the seeds myself in the hopes of getting more flavor out of them. That wasn't the case at all. I like to use it in my homemade rye bread, but the flavor was not as strong as I had hoped, despite the fact that the already ground version was more intense.
In my Kuhn Rikon hand grinder, this product grinds easily. Other sources of fenugreek were difficult to grind because it was too hard. I now keep a fenugreek grinder near the stove and use it to season a variety of dishes - almost anything is possible. My family prefers fenugreek in their chapati, and I'll use it in bread and biscuits as well.
This has greatly aided my hair, which had been suffering from a dry, itchy scalp and hair loss. My hair and scalp remain moisturized, and it even aids in the detangling of my curly hair! I've ordered several bags from Starwest Botanicals and have been so happy with them that I won't buy from anyone else! Oh, and it really does stop the gray hairs in their tracks, too! It's so moisturizing that I could take a bath in it!.
So far, I haven't seen much of a difference, but it is driving my libido insane!.
