When I have the opportunity, I enjoy cooking Indian food at home. However, many of the herbs, spices, and ingredients are difficult to come by where I live, and fenugreek is one of them. easy- look for herbal remedies I ordered this and it arrived quickly. I used it in a butter chicken recipe that my entire family enjoyed. I would strongly suggest it. It appeared to be a little on the expensive side. But it was worth it to me because I didn't have to drive all over town looking for dried fenugreek leaves.
They add a depth of flavor to your homemade Indian food that you didn't realize was missing. Let me preface this by saying that while I am not Indian, I enjoy watching a YouTuber who teaches Indian cuisine and purchased these based on her recommendation for the reasons stated above. Since purchasing them, I've used them in both homemade and store-bought tikka masala sauces. My only criticism is that some of these leaves have a more fibrous texture than others (think thyme stems). I'm not sure if the herb looks like that all of the time or if it's a quality indicator. I don't think they're old because the taste is good and fresh.
It's possible that you'll spend a long time picking out stems. except if you're a fan of stems.

I've purchased other brands of methi from local grocery stores, but I find that these, as well as other Burma Spice products, are fresher or, at the very least, more flavorful.
It was fantastic the first time I ordered it. It was full of weevils the second time I ordered it. It wasn't a lot, but it was unpleasant. I'm willing to give it another shot because I imagine weevils are difficult to eradicate, and the herbs don't contain any chemicals that would kill them (I'd rather eat a few weevils than pesticides).

We ordered a variety of Fenugreek products (leaf, seed, powder) to see which one we liked best; it was noticeably fresher, more aromatic, and primarily leaf. By comparison, it didn't have the same stem-like scent. I'll place a new order.
