There is no mention of their origins. It says it was made for Spice Way in Van Nuys, California. It's a large package, and I've already used it. They are excellent. I use them to make pickles. It comes in an 8 oz. package. I'll be able to use it for the rest of my life.
We attempted to plant them, but none of them have germinated so far.

Because it cannot be returned, I requested a refund from the seller. I'll update this review if they meet my expectations. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Spice Way refunded my entire purchase price, which I consider to be exceptional customer service, and I will gladly order from them again in the future.
In the summer, I make cucumber pickles for my family. This summer, we tried to spend as much time as possible at home. This is where I purchased my dill seed. It smelled so good and was so fresh! It was nothing like what I'd been buying in the neighborhood. I've just placed a new peppercorn order. I am a satisfied client!.
On top of most of my meals, I like to sprinkle dill seasoning. I bought it on the spur of the moment and decided to try it out. The flavor was adequate, but I found that other brands' seeds had a more robust flavor.
They turned out to be fantastic pickles! I used them to make bread and butter pickles as well as claussen refrigerator pickles. The product was in excellent condition and had been carefully packaged.
This can arrived a few days earlier than expected, which is always a plus, and the spice is clean and fresh. The clear front panel on the resealable bag allows you to see how much is left without having to open it.
This year, I couldn't find the spices I needed to make pickles in my local supermarkets. I discovered these to be a fantastic value for money, as well as being flavorful. It's a good thing I planted way too many cucumber plants this year because there's a lot more in the packaging than I expected.
There is no dill aroma or flavor in this bag of dill seeds. Because it lacks dill flavor, I can't use it in my pickles. I'll look for something else.
Dill is difficult to come by in stores, so I make refrigerator dill pickles. This was a fantastic find, and it was a much better deal than the small containers you might come across.
