There is nothing on the label that says- If that helps, they appear to be dark in color and stiff. I use them in the same way I would if I bought them in a regular grocery store, except they are fresher, more potent, and a much better deal.
I'm going to assume exactly what the title implies- India. The packaging only says 'packaged in Houston' apart from the title.

This is one of those spices that goes a long way with a small amount. However, I recently decided to make an orange pomander ball with cloves embedded in it. This is accomplished by inserting the cloves at their pointy ends into a fresh orange, leaving only the blossom portion visible on the outside. (You can start the hole with a pin or a toothpick. ) ) You put them in very close proximity to one another. The cloves and orange skin oil combine to create an incredible scent. When the orange shrivels and dries out after a few weeks, the fragrance lingers for months, if not years. One of these, which belonged to my grandmother, is one of my earliest memories. She hung it from a hanger on her dressing room mirror, which was wrapped in lavender colored ribbon. I wanted her to take it down so I could smell it every time I went to see her. That scent was fantastic! I still remember her and that pomander ball whenever I smell cloves. br>br>As a result, I began with.
My husband and I bought these for a bedroom where one of the walls has an ant colony that occasionally comes out to get her hot drinks. As a result, cloves act as a natural repellent. Every couple of months, I find myself having to replace them. But I like how they smell and how green and natural they are. Very good quality, no mold, and all whole cloves. I'm happy with my purchase.
To keep pesty moths at bay, I bought these with lavender and cinnamon sticks. I haven't gotten to the bottom yet, so I can't say for sure, but most of them don't have the clove on top of them. Cloves can also be used to treat a sore throat. If I see clove heads in the bottom of the bag, I'll place another order!.
At $10 for a regular sized spice bottle, these were a bit pricey at the grocery store. With this bag, I was able to make 15 gifts and still have plenty left over. If you need a large quantity of whole cloves, I recommend buying from this seller.
In November, I placed an order for these to make Pomander Balls. To ensure that they were still fresh, I waited until the Christmas holidays to open them. Unfortunately, they emitted no odor at all. My 7-year-old daughter was very excited to be a member of the Pomanders. We decided to use them despite the fact that they were the only cloves we had. We used a tack to pierce the oranges, then pressed the cloves into the holes. Many of the cloves crumbled even after taking this extra step. If you order these, make sure to open them as soon as possible to ensure that they are still fresh.
These are the cloves I use in my air freshener, which I make at home. With cinnamon oil, cinnamon bark, and water, all you need is a few drops. Place all of the spices in a pot with a tea light underneath it. The scent has been a hit with my husband and guests so far. Many store-bought air fresheners and scented candles cause me allergic reactions. As a result, I improvise. It really works!.
This is an outstanding offer. You get a lot of cloves for a lower price than if you bought a smaller amount. The only thing I don't like about it is that the bag does not close properly. As a result, you'll need a large container, or multiple containers. You could also just put them in a big ziploc bag and hope they don't go bad. But I adore the fact that I can smell the cloves even before I open the bag.
They were purchased in order to make Pomanders. Pushing through the orange causes them to fall apart. That hasn't been an issue with other brands. I suppose what you pay for is what you get.
