Where do the cloves come from?

I noticed on the back of the bottle that it says "packed in the USA," so I assumed it was sourced in the United States because importing it would be prohibitively expensive; fortunately, the cloves I received were not broken, and they do smell strongly of cloves. I hope this has been of assistance.

Cloves are hated by grain pests! These cloves were a steal at that price! I don't use them in the kitchen; I needed them in my pantry as a bug deterrent after a grain weevil infestation

They're fantastic at repelling insects! Tiny beetles will stay away if you sprinkle it around in your pantry or drawers.

When were these grown/harvested, and what century did they come from? These were supposed to be used to make a healing tea, but they had an unpleasant odor

There was also no 'use by date,' lot number, or other indication of the decade in which these were grown or harvested.

They're in good shape

Approximately half of the leaves are broken pieces rather than whole leaves. You're good to go if you're comfortable wrapping herbs in cheese cloth.

The tone is far too gentle

I'm not sure if they're stale or not, but I should be able to smell cloves just by cracking that seal. I have an empty jar in which I used to keep other cloves, and it still smells better than these.

Good flavor and a good price

The taste and smell of the product were satisfactory, and the price was reasonable. I made a cup of tea from it. The tea tasted delicious. About five pieces were used in total. br>It would have been nice if there were fewer broken pieces, but they were still good value for money. br>I'm going to buy some more.

Cloves, to be precise

I'm at a loss for words. I don't cook with cloves very often, so I'm not familiar with them. What I CAN say is that they look nice and fresh (as fresh as dry cloves can look) and don't have a strong clove scent. When I make mulled cider or something similar in the future, I'm sure they'll go well together. For Christmas, you could even put some in an orange. Who can say?.
