Questions & Answers

Could you tell me if this is the same red chili powder used in tacos?

Takies may never be made with guajillo powder since it is not spicy, and that makes us doubt that it is ever used.

To what extent should clumping be prevented What should I use to desiccate beans, silica gel, or something else? Thanks a lot! ?

As I've said before, I have a fairly large bottle of this, and I've not had any problems with clumping.

Does this work well for chicken and pork or on a barbecue or grill?

If a little were added to chicken and pork and any grilled meat, it would be wonderful This spice adds a little zip to chili, tacos, etc. It can be used to make chocolate cake as well. It is a delight to combine sweet and spice.

Would it be possible to get a version without the seeds if this one is ground with them?

This spice has no seeds, and I find it to be a wonderful spice. I enjoy cooking with it, especially on pork, it makes some excellent sauces.

Ancho chili powder is similar in taste to this Ancho Chile Powder is a bit milder than Guajillo Chile Powder
5/5

Guajillo Chile Powder runs from 2,500 - 4,999 Scoville heat units and Ancho Chile Powder runs from 963 - 11,559 Scoville heat units. There are 1,500 Scoville heat units in this country. To compare, we use the Scoville heat unit scale for the hot pepper, which is usually 2,500-8,000. There are some people that say Guajillo can be used as a substitute for Ancho, as it has a slightly sweeter flavor and is slightly It consists of 1,000 p. m. to 1 a. m. As part of the "Holy Trinity" of Mexican dried chilies (2,500 SU), Ancho and Guajillo chilis are considered a part of this group. A quick search on the internet led me to this. The hottest chili is the Guajillo, but all three are on the mild side.

Recipes made with Mexican ingredients are essential
5/5

An essential component of authentic Mexican and South American cuisine The dishes of the Southwest. Quite a large jar for someone like me who cooks at home. Then I divided it into cups and put one in each. The third half-mouth is divided into three Into pint jars, let stand for 24 hours, then vacuum seal By using the vacuum sealer attachment on my Foodsaver vacuum sealer, I sealed the lids on. The product has been dated, labeled, and sealed They are stored in the deep freezer of my home. To use right away, I kept the remainder in the original container in my cupboard.

I was surprised by how good it was
4/5

I am very pleased with this result. My cooking style tends to be Mexican / Southwestern, and I have experimented with different peppers and spice This warm spice adds a nice, almost fruity note to it without being too warm for little girls. The second time I bought it, it was excellent.

Although I have lived in Mexico and Texas, this is the best guajillo I have ever tasted
5/5

It is this guajillo brand that I continue to order. You can tell that it was just ground up in a molcajete, since it has the best flavor. There are a lot of items in there, and it locks up tight and keeps everything fresh.

To add flavor to sauces, dry peppers should be reconstituted. This can also be used to make a rub or Chile.

The best chili powder ever! Guajillo powder was added to the mix that went on my chicken, and it added some flavor and some heat to it
5/5

My purchase of Pasilla Negro powder (also purchased at the same time) has a somewhat different flavor, but is milder and It is generally possible to substitute one for the other, and both can be found in authentic Mexican cooking, as well as.
