It is not really true. This one has a kick and is more spicy and zingy. Crab and other shell fish go well with this dish. The flavor is enhanced by diluting it a little.
The caramel color of this product comes from the fact that it has neither sugar nor maltodextrin.
You need to use the right amount of oil for the amount of food you cook. Using it for cooking or as a seasoning is a good idea. It has been my favorite for 50 years now.
Despite not eating it yet, I'm still excited about it

While growing up on the Gulf Coast, this was the product I used to boil shrimp with. Using the liquid is easy, as there are no spices to pick in flavor off shrimp, and it can be used to easily blanch plain vegetables to give them.
If you cringed, then it's a southern thing.
The day I saw a chef say what her secret ingredient for shrimp rolls was, I was watching one of the morning shows. The product I was looking for was this one It takes very little to make a big difference.
It adds flavor and a kick that I love. Boiled with smoked sausage, potatoes, corn, and shrimp, it is the perfect accompaniment to meals.
It's impossible to compare with Zatarain!.
There is a taste to it I do not like in seafood.
