I discovered that it was low in sugar, but high in salt. After opening the jar, I found out that this was It is true that most rubs have salt in them, but it is possible to make a rub (or seasoning) that is herb-based Rather than relying on salt so much, this method is completely plant-based. The salt content of this rub will make the fish taste fine, but I will need to be careful about using it on my fish. I hate to tell you this, but if you are a serious fish preparer, it is probably better if you buy the herbs yourself and make your own marinades and rubs.
