I use a lot of poultry seasoning, and I've tried a lot of different brands. One of my personal favorites is this one. I'm not a huge fan of garlic, and this brand is devoid of it. br>I bought this one in June 2018 and it has a lot of spice for a low price. This batch appears to be exceptionally fresh and delicious. Because I dislike plastic containers, I put mine in a jar. Very highly recommended for tofu or any other soy "meat" product.
I have an older container of this same brand of chicken seasoning that has the exact same ingredients as the bottle listing. The flavor of the seasoning in the older bottle is far superior. Something about the new bottle isn't quite right. There is a distinct difference in flavor.
This gives vegetables and starchy dishes a little something extra. It's my vegetarian secret weapon when I'm in desperate need of a little extra help. This seasoning has a better balance than other 'poultry' seasonings I've tried, with just the right amount of nutmeg. Greetings, croutons made from scratch!.
It doesn't have a salty taste to it. Use as much or as little as you like; I prefer a lot on my pork and chicken. When my meal is cooking, it smells wonderful. Both the size and the price are important. This product has been difficult to locate on the shelves of my local supermarket. I don't go to any of the major membership stores. All that matters is a good product at a good price with great flavor.
I searched high and low for a good deal on rubbed sage, but since I couldn't find one, I switched to poultry seasoning, which is mostly sage. This is a fantastic mixture that smells so fresh and aromatic that you will be completely satisfied with it.
As I travel across the country, it can be difficult to locate. As a result, I went out and purchased the larger bottle. Without it, I'm not going to be able to cook. It's great in egg salad, baked chicken, dressings, and even some Italian dishes - to give it a smoky, herb-balanced flavor.
Because my husband suffers from alpha-amyloidosis, I use a lot of poultry seasoning. I'm allergic to galactose and can't eat mammalian meats because of it. Almost all of my meals are made up of chicken or turkey. So that my food doesn't get too spicy, this poultry seasoning has just the right amount of sage in relation to the other seasonings. Everything from chicken soup to my faux meatloaf made with ground turkey tastes great with it.
Are you fed up with being overcharged at the grocery store for thimblefuls of poultry seasoning? No? Perhaps you don't cook all that much. This is the only way to get poultry seasoning if you cook a lot of poultry over the course of a year, like I do. Don't settle for "chicken seasoning" when you can get a great product from McCormick. This is the genuine article. When I walk down a store aisle past the seasoning displays, I laugh out loud. You'd think the companies (including McCormick) were packaging gold dust in a container small enough to fit in your grocery cart. Save a bundle by buying in bulk.
