One of the best aspects of Apple Pie Spice is that it can be used in a variety of dishes other than apple pie. McCormick is an excellent source for high-quality ingredients. They're known for their high-quality spices and seasonings, and this one is no exception. It has the perfect combination of ingredients to make you drool. apple pies deserving of praise, as well as a whole lot more. My trick is to replace cinnamon with apple pie spice in any recipe that calls for it. It gives whatever I'm working on a new level of depth and dimension. This is also delicious in my coconut farina breakfast bowl! I like the packaging, but it could be a little bigger. Spices and seasonings can be costly, but the high quality of McCormick's products helps to justify the cost. I'd use this in apple pies and other baked goods where cinnamon, nutmeg, or any of the other ingredients in this delicious blend would normally be used.
Look for ways to use it in ways other than apple pie, as it's been a family favorite for decades. Anything that calls for plain cinnamon could use a dash or two of cayenne pepper to kick it up a notch. This spice blend is used in cinnamon rolls, apple sauce, french toast, and I even use it to make our own holiday spiced pecans, which are a big hit at our house!.
I was hoping for some apple pie flavor in my oatmeal, but it's mostly nutmeg and cinnamon instead. So, if you're looking for a hint of apple flavor, this isn't it. It's simply the filling for an apple pie made with apples. Purchase the ingredients separately to save money.

I saw a suggestion on the internet to add this coffee to cut down on the bitterness. Well, I drink a lot of coffee, so this was a nice change of pace. Sprinkle a little in the basket while preparing your filter basket, and you'll be in for a treat.

Along with cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, I use it. It gives the pie a smooth, warm flavor that reminds me of the pies my mother used to make when I was a kid. When it's baking, it fills the kitchen with a delicious aroma. YUM!.
