The seasoning isn't wrapped in plastic on the inside of the box, which is most likely the reason. For as long as I've bought it, the seasoning has always been packed this way. Only in the Northeast can you get this seasoning. Stores on the east coast (where I was born and raised). Since I've moved to Arizona, I'll have to order this seasoning online.
The original recipe did not contain salt, and it has been in use for over 55 years. It's the best poultry seasoning you'll ever try!
It is less costly. Instead, a pour spout is included on the cardboard lid.
I've never used bell pepper seasoning in tuna salad before. However, you might be surprised if you add some seasoning to a small portion of tuna salad. I'm curious to see how it tastes, and I wish you the best of luck!

This seasoning mixture has a powdery texture. Carefully open the box and pour the contents into an empty glass spice jar that you've saved after you've used all of the cumin or whatever. The best jars to use are the small jars with shaker tops, which can be sprinkled on any poultry, including steaks. Add to ground turkey, cook, transfer to serving bowl, and top with hot vegetable soup - great! Keep the unopened box in a plastic bag if you don't plan on using it right away. weight in the freezer – to keep moisture at bay.

My younger brother passed away six years ago. Since then, my niece has been preparing her own Thanksgiving dinners, attempting to recreate the ones she recalls her father preparing for the family. She dined at my oldest daughter's house for Thanksgiving dinner in 2020. "That's what Thanksgiving smells like!" Cody exclaimed as she entered the kitchen, smelling Bell's Seasoning on the turkey and in the stuffing. Every holiday turkey, roast chicken, breading of every piece of fried chicken, and any other place where poultry was involved was seasoned with Bell's Seasoning when I was growing up. Although William Bell advertised his seasoning as ideal for pork sausages in 1863, this is not the case today. My great-grandmother and I Bell's Seasoning was used to roast the birds by my grandmother. My mother was the same way. I still do, and my daughters are the 5th generation to carry on the family tradition. Give Bell's a try for a true New England Thanksgiving, regardless of where you live in the United States or what traditions you carry on from your forefathers; you'll be enchanted by the smell and taste, and I'm sure it'd be fine in a mole sauce. If you enjoy it, keep some on hand at all times because no poultry dish will be complete without it.
Bell's seasoning is one of my favorites; my grandmother used it, my mother did, and now my sister and brother do as well. It's a family tradition, so it's only natural that I'd want it for Thanksgiving. br>I'm very dissatisfied with how it arrived and am hesitant to use it. Even though it's in a cardboard box, the spice smells delicious. This scent reminds me of happy times. Even though I grew up in North Carolina, my Grandpa had this in his small country store before the holidays. He'd travel north to place orders for his store's supplies. I'm going to share one of the three small boxes, but I'm going to put it in a mason jar or empty the contents into a spice bottle. Since I am now vegan, I use this spice to flavor seitan, dressings, and gravy.
I recently relocated and am unable to obtain Bell's. It's great for stuffing and chicken stew at Thanksgiving. br>This is one of the things I like about Amazon: I can get things I wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. br>The packaging wasn't great, though, and it leaked out, so my mail box and spice drawer now smell like Thanksgiving, which I don't mind. ) Because it is a very fine powder, it will most likely be difficult to contain during transportation.
From the moment the box arrived, I was completely enthralled. Wow! I understand why there have been so many positive reviews. It smells incredible and makes the best stuffing I've ever had. (With the exception of the Bell's, I had been following my mother's recipe, which she learned from my grandmother. ) My only criticism of this product is that it would be better packaged in a jar or tin; the box is messy for a ground spice.
My mother only used this brand when I was a kid. It was the only one I had when I got married almost fifty years ago. Bells seasoning is no longer available because the store where I bought it closed down. This was before the advent of the internet. Thank you to Amazon and the seller for allowing me to have as much as I want. br>br>There's nothing like it anywhere; the closest thing in terms of taste was Whole Foods; most have salt and other herbs; I use it on eggs, meat, and vegetables whenever I want a savory flavor. A pinch or a spoonful is all you need, and a little goes a long way.
