Why do you use cornmeal to fill the item? I was duped into thinking I was getting a large bottle for a large price, but it's just filler. ?

It isn't used as a filler in any way! When it comes to thickening up something Tex-Mex, any good chili maker knows. Cornmeal is added by Mex. Potato starch is used in the cheaper versions, including McCormick's own. Nobody was taken advantage of!

The product was of poor quality, and the seller attempted to deceive me by putting a new sticker on top of an old one
3/5

I was sent the incorrect product; I had requested premium and was instead sent regular. Someone stuck a sticker over the UPC with a label/code that said premium taco, but after removing it and scanning it, it's clear that it's the genuine article. br>br>All we want is to get the right things at the right time.

The item isn't exactly what it says it is
3/5

The product did not match the description. I had previously ordered this item from the same company, and when I attempted to return it, Amazon refused because it was a food item, despite the fact that I had not opened it and it was not the item described and pictured. Instead of the Premium seasoning that was advertised, I received the regular Original seasoning. It tastes like dog food when I use it. I posted a photo of the actual item I received, which was full of potato starch and mild spice.

Why the corn starch in such a large container of versatile spice? I've only bought taco seasoning twice in my life, so I'm not sure what made me buy a 24-ounce tub
4/5

Yes, I'm aware of what prompted my decision-making- For the price of three of those single-use packets, it was a huge container. Regardless, this container is enormous. br>br> When I received this in the mail, I burst out laughing. We'll have this for a long time. So far, I've used it once on ground turkey for tacos and on a variety of other occasions- Refried beans, eggs, and potatoes are some of the ingredients in this dish. It's a flavorful seasoning that can be used in a variety of dishes. However, I'm not sure what makes this the "premium" version, especially since the main ingredient is a low-cost filler - corn starch is a type of starch. I, too, would prefer a stronger flavor in my taco seasoning. It would be so much better if the chili powder, paprika, and garlic were used more and the cheap filler was used less.

This is Original Seasoning with the words Premium printed on the back
3/5

This is not the Premium Taco Seasoning, but rather the Original Taco Seasoning with a Premium printed sticker on the back. The ingredients are extremely diverse. Why say Premium, list Premium ingredients, and then send Classic with the claim that it is Premium?.

This is something I used to get at COSTCO - On Amazon, you can get a better deal
5/5

This is far superior to the packets. You may believe that all McCormick's seasonings are equal, but there is a significant difference between the Premium taco mix and the orange-flavored taco mix. and-red packets, which are available at the supermarket. This is something we use on a regular basis. from beef, turkey, and chicken tacos to fajita seasonings, chili, and instant pot recipes - The flavor of this particular mix, as well as the high-quality results it produces, make it worthwhile to stockpile in case supplies run out.

GROSS! SMOKY, but not taco seasoning-like! This is revolting! It has nothing in common with any taco seasoning I've ever tried, including McCormick's
3/5

There's no taco seasoning in it. It has a fajita-style smoky chipotle flavor. flavoring with ish It's a little smoky out there. It does not have a pleasant flavor. AND, because I had a coupon, I only paid $4 for it, and it's not even worth that. I tried it a few times and eventually threw out the container and went back to buying regular packets. If you want taco meat that doesn't taste like taco meat, this is a waste of money.

This taco seasoning will save you money while also adding flavor
5/5

I am constantly in the kitchen, and tacos are one of my favorites. This seasoning blend is fantastic for tacos made with ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken, etc. ). However, I also enjoy rubbing the mixture on boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs before grilling and slicing them. It's delicious in taco or tortilla soup, and it can even be used to make the filling for enchiladas for a flavor boost. I also like to cut the rubbed meat into thin slices and use it in fajitas or quesadillas. Finally, this size package offers excellent value and outlasts single-use packets purchased at the supermarket.

It's tasty stuff
5/5

I really enjoy it. Buying a large container instead of individual packets is much more cost effective. It's great for tacos, but I also use it in soups, chili, and chicken seasoning. It's extremely adaptable, and because it's not packaged, you can use as much as you want. packet that has been precisely measured I've heard that making your own is simple and that you have more control over the ingredients, so I'm not concerned about the high sodium content.
