Why is it that Goya insists on including msg in their sazon?

Yes, I am aware. I switched to a different Sazon brand that doesn't contain MSG, which I discovered on Amazon. In addition, for political reasons, I am boycotting them entirely.

Is it possible to use this instead of achiote paste?

I use achiote paste, as well as culantro and achiote powder from Sazon. not all at the same time Although it isn't a true substitute, I prefer the mixed flavor to plain achiote.

Is this a wet seasoning or a dry seasoning? like the seasoning in ramen packets? Thanks?

Yes, there are individual packets that can be opened and used. One packet is enough to cover an entire chicken.

Thank you for making this product available in packets for ease of use! Vegetables and meats can be roasted in the oven. For extra yum power, I add it to almost anything.

NOT GOOD. I would not place an order. MSG and Yellow 5 dye are present. Red 40 is a color.

Quite tasty! I make 2 cups of rice, use 2 packets, and add about 3 tablespoons of consomé chicken flavor, cook it, and it's done! It's delicious!

So it's a great tasting seasoning, but because it's watery, you'll need to use more packs to get the same flavor, which means you'll need about 4 packets per pot for a family of 5. As a result, if you're looking for a good deal, this isn't the best option.
