They appeared to be fresh, despite the fact that they were dried chilis. They had a great aroma and were extremely hot, with a nice chili flavor. These are the ones I recommend.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is an excellent product. I'm in the process of removing the seeds so that I can make the marinade for tacos al pastor. Thank you for making one of the best dried chile products I've ever purchased, if not the best, I've ever purchased. I was a little hesitant to purchase this item online, but the quality is exceptional! I think this is the best marinade I've ever made!.
These are great for making chili oil, and they have a great aroma and flavor. I am extremely pleased with the quality, freshness, and cleanliness of the product; When compared to some of the other brands I've looked into, this one stands out.
They do, however, have a chipotle flavor that I don't care for; it's not a strong chipotle flavor, but it's noticeable. They do not taste like 100% natural dried habanero powder powder powder powder powder powder pow I'm not sure why the seller doesn't specify that these are chipotle peppers in the description. If I had known they were chipotle peppers, I would not have bought them. I've also had dried habanero in the past. I'm well aware of the situation.
In chili con carne, black bean chili, and a variety of other Southwestern and Mexican dishes, I use dried chilis as a secret ingredient. These had a pleasant scent and were supple rather than brittle. The color was vibrant, and the whole family agreed that it was the best chili I'd ever made after I soaked, chopped, and mixed them in. br>br>These chilies are incredible. I've bought dried chilis before, but these were the most flavorful and freshest I've ever had. This chili powder has a lot more flavor than regular chili powder. To avoid burning your hands, always use gloves when handling.
I was very pleased with the 1LB bag that I purchased and rehydrated. The peppers had already been trimmed (i. e. , they had already been trimmed). No stems, for the most part, but who's complaining? The rehydrated bag weighed more than 2 pounds! In my basement, they're happily fermenting for a batch of mexican-style hot sauce. After this batch is finished, I'll make another purchase. That is, after three months of fermentation.
I just got around to opening the package I ordered back in April. The smell of smokiness is unbearable. I confused dehydrated with dried. When I tried to make one with shrimp, the smokiness overwhelmed the ginger and garlic. This is the product for you if you like smoked dried habanero. I usually dehydrate my fresh habaneros before using them. They don't have a smoky scent to them at all.

These chilis were spicy but not overpowering, and they had a great flavor. They were brand new dried chilis (I know, they're dried chilis, but they weren't old dried chilis). I'm sure you're aware of what I'm talking about. ) I will buy these again and recommend them to others.
