Questions & Answers
Ole Mission Arbol Chiles are 100% natural and no chemical treatments have been added to them. The ripening and sun-drying of arbol chiles causes them to turn red. Thank you
I haven't tried it, but I'm guessing the seeds have lost their ability to germinate because the chilis are dry.
This is the hottest of the three commonly used in chili or mole; if you don't like it spicy, use Ancho or Guajillo instead. If you require more heat, simply add more Arbol. Alternatively, Tepin or even Habanero could be used. Ole Mission sells a three-pack of Ancho, Guajillo, and Arbol sauce that is well-balanced. With the Arbol, you can adjust the heat, but even so, these have great flavor without adding a lot of unnecessary heat. Purchase a variety of types to see which one you prefer. I grind the seeds out of these Arbol and use it as a "red" pepper in rubs, eggs, stir fries, and other sauces. Ole Mission's products are fantastic, and their customer service is excellent!
Personally, I am unable to respond to this question. The proprietor, on the other hand, was extremely accommodating. I'd approach him with the question.

It works well as a rub for whole grilled chickens and some types of white fish (grilled). Ground peppers are fantastic in bar-b-que sauces. For ribs, make a que sauce. br>br>In some Italian red sauces and lasagna, ground peppers add a lot of flavor. br>br>I also use it to replace black pepper in olive oil with garlic when grilling or roasting Brussels sprouts and asparagus. It appears to be a better match for lime juice than black pepper. In stir-fries with shrimp, baby bok choy, green onions, and Canton noodles, I use chopped up peppers. br>br>I replace cayenne pepper with ground Arbols because most ground store-bought pepper loses its flavor and only adds heat. To increase the heat, I can use a lot of my ground Arbol pepper, which also adds a lot more pepper flavor! br>br>I particularly like the resealable bag used in the packaging. The shipment arrived on the scheduled delivery date. The Seller followed up with an email to confirm receipt of the package. It was a thoughtful gesture that was greatly appreciated. It feels a little waxy and moist. This indicates that they are extremely fresh. I'll be able to use these for about 6 months. I eat one or two of these with every meal. I'm Sicilian, so we eat food first, then chili, then food, and so on. The color and texture, on the other hand, indicate that these were picked and packed recently. Chilis from Mexico and California make me happy every time. They were crammed into a small space and neatly stacked. Good job! Thank you, Sir! br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: br> There is also a free recipe eBook included. Also, Danny Trejo's new Mexican cookbook is worth a look. It's a bargain on Kindle, and it'll definitely improve a gringo's Mex or Tex Mex game! Danny rescued a child from a burning car that had flipped over. Look it up on the internet! Dude, you are amazing. Stories and recipes are fantastic. Eses, these chilies remind me of Yucatan cuisine, and they're totally legit! br>DUPLICATE BONUS: Look up authentic chilli cocktails on YouTube, share the love, and Orale, you're welcome!.
' The texture is good, and the smell is 'fresh' (they are dried, but the smell is fresh). These chilis have been used in one of our favorite breakfast recipes - Kedgeree. These chilis are commonly used in Mexican salsas and sauces, but we have recipes for a variety of spice blends from all over Northern Africa and Southeast Asia that call for them as well. The heat level varies depending on how many chilis are used, as in the Kederee, where the 'kick' is just an interesting bit of spice - Some Indonesian recipes, on the other hand, will clear your sinuses out! br>Good all-around product; not sure what they do differently in their process, but these guys are nicely dried without getting 'old. ' Mission Trading Company's Chili de Arbol comes highly recommended by us. (We're foodies, so this is important to us. ) Yes, a bag of chilis can make us so excited! LOL). In the future, we plan to investigate some of their other offerings.
I was blown away by how fresh these peppers were. They kept their fresh flavor and some natural oils despite being dried. They were combined with freshly ground Szechuan peppercorns in a Kung Pao recipe. I'm not sure I'll ever be satisfied ordering this dish in a restaurant! Our family enjoys spicy foods, and while the original recipe called for three peppers, we found that using six provided plenty of heat. Each time I make this recipe, I might add another until I find our "max tolerable heat" level. br>I will definitely buy this produce from this vendor again!.
The chilis arrived quickly, along with a thoughtful note from Fatima, who wanted to make sure everything was in order. I responded to her email, and she did so as well. This indicates to me that they provide excellent customer service. br>br>I made chili crisps with these peppers. For me, the chilis are just hot enough. Very tasty, but not too spicy to necessitate medical intervention. They improve the flavor of a variety of dishes.
I've ordered this brand of CHILI ARBOL three times now, and I've never been disappointed. They come in a sealed bag and are extremely fresh, pliable, and flavorful. I occasionally fry about ten chilis in hot oil, then remove them from the oil, lightly salt them, and store them in the refrigerator. They last for weeks and are still fresh and flavorful. Furthermore, the remaining chilis stay fresh in the sealable bag for months.
We prefer to make it from scratch every time so that the garam masala is at its most flavorful. We couldn't find the Arbol Chilis we wanted to add to the mix until we came across these on Amazon. They arrived quickly, beautifully packaged, and in perfect working order. We're overjoyed to have discovered them, and 4 ounces is a substantial amount. Thank you very much, Mission Trading. We're returning!.
This dried chili is one of my favorites because it has a delicious flavor and a hint of heat. Just enough heat to get your attention; great in any dish; I especially enjoy them in Mexican dishes. It has a fantastic flavor and is incredibly simple to prepare. Although a little goes a long way, I prefer hot and spicy foods, so I use more than usual.
