Questions & Answers

How much poultry magic should I use when mixing it with butter and applying it to a 15-pound turkey?

Narragansett turkeys are one of the breeds we raise and sell. 3 tablespoons butter (I prefer Kerrygold) and a couple teaspoons poultry seasoning for a 15-pounder. Rub the breasts, legs, wings, and thighs with a good amount of the mixture. Ignore the back, as it will only increase your chances of developing rubbery skin there. Then I season it with freshly ground black pepper and a generous amount of Kosher salt, and bake it for 30 minutes at 450 degrees before lowering the temperature to 325 degrees. In the thickest part of the thigh, cook to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

When does Poultry Magic Seasoning 24oz go out of date?

Chef Paul poultry seasoning 24 oz lot 70472o3 has an expiration date.

Is there a difference between poultry magic and poultry seasoning? Is it okay if I use it to make stuffing instead?

No, poultry seasoning and poultry seasoning blend are not the same thing. Stuffing can be made with poultry seasoning. The poultry seasoning blend can be used in the stuffing, but it will not have the same flavor as traditional stuffing.

This seasoning is recommended for a Cajun chicken recipe that I'd like to try. Is it "blackened spice" that you're looking for?

No, in my opinion; it's a wonderful spice, but it's not something I'd use in a Cajun recipe!

Quite simply the best!! The most delicious seasoning ever! If you're looking for the best blackened chicken you've ever tasted, look no further
5/5

Cover the chicken breasts completely with this mixture. With clarified butter in a cast iron skillet that is extremely hot. Cook the chicken until it is completely blackened on both sides, then finish in the oven. Amazing! For the best blackened shrimp skewers ever, use it on shrimp skewers and grill them. When you combine this seasoning with Alfredo sauce, you'll have the best blackened Alfredo you've ever had. Don't bother with the other magic seasonings; poultry magic is the best for all your blackened needs!.

I've been using this seasoning for a long time and am very pleased with its quality
5/5

Years ago, I used to buy the smaller version of this seasoning at HEB. We were going to go through it quickly because it was in a small glass bottle. When I saw this on Amazon, I knew I had to give it a try. The seasoning has a wonderful aroma and is fresh. We bought this seasoning for our oldest daughter when she went off to college as a pretty much all-around chicken seasoning, and she has developed even more recipes that include this particular spice. br>It has a warm and savory flavor with an even spice to it. We are extremely happy with the results.

It's perfectly acceptable

We didn't think this seasoning was particularly noteworthy. The night before, I put it on a chicken, then the next day, I smoked it. The flavor wasn't bad, and there was nothing off-putting about it. It wasn't great, to put it that way. It was tasty, but the seasoning could have been better. We've had it for months, and I've never used it, and no one has ever asked for it.

Chef Paul, I appreciate your kindness

Rest in peace, my friend. This seasoning is fantastic. In some ways, it's like seasoned salt. I have the seafood blend, and it is fantastic on catfish and probably other types of fish as well. I bought the poultry with the intention of using it on thawed chicken tenders with this seasoning and a dash of mayonnaise. (not slathered, but squirted on,) and a pinch of salt and pepper. 20 minutes in the oven as well as fantastic However, there is a risk of overdoing it, which I would advise if you feel it requires a little more. stop. That is, until you have become accustomed to the quantity. I'm excited to season some flour for the batter dip. A little goes into egg salad as well. Poultry. right? This product comes highly recommended.

It's delicious

This is a chicken recipe that I've used for years. Blackened beef and fish are also excellent. I'd only ever seen the small containers before, so seeing this size made me very happy; I love this flavor on grilled chicken. If you're in a hurry, just sprinkling it on the chicken before throwing it on the grill will suffice.

It will change the way you eat chicken forever
5/5

This seasoning was my first taste in 1994, when I was a small child, and it has remained my favorite since then. These days, I keep a canister in the kitchen and fill one of the old glass shakers with this spice. Chef Paul also sells a variety of other tasty spices, including Pizza Seasoning. Poultry Magic is the one to keep in stock, along with Pasta Magic and New Orleans Seasoning (which is great on steaks). br>br>I've always liked how it stays on a juicy piece of chicken rather than rolling off like other spices. The flavor is incredible, reminiscent of dried and powdered vegetables with a hint of garlic, with a medium heat level that the average person can handle. You can sprinkle it on chicken slices after they've been cooked and placed on the table, but I prefer to mix it in with chicken and noodles. Put some large noodles in a pot with cream of chicken and a bouillon cube, then add large chunks of precooked chicken, then pour a few tablespoons into a mixing bowl and mix it all together for a delicious dinner.

It's ideal for soup
5/5

I buy this product so that I can use it in my homemade chicken noodle soup, which I make frequently. It adds to the soup's flavor. It can also be used to season any type of poultry dish.
