It's not so much a spicy flavor as it is a strong flavor. I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but I enjoy this. I'd start with a small amount and gradually increase until you achieve the desired flavor.

This Rub is not one of them! This is the genuine article. It's a fantastic spice blend. It enhances the flavor of any dish. It received 5 out of 5 stars from me. That's how good it is!.
It doesn't taste particularly novel or groundbreaking, but it's extremely well-made. It's well-balanced, especially in terms of sweetness and savory flavors. This could be paired with almost anything. br>br>However, I could see this as a good go-to option. It's a good all-arounder to rub for a quick smoke, but it's not amazing or special to me, especially at this price. I believe it is inherently less interesting than something I could make on my own for this reason. br>br>I purchased this to see what I could learn from it in order to improve my own rubs; I believe I'll be comparing my sweet/savory balance to this for a while, but I'll still make my own.
I was about to place an order for another bottle when I noticed the three-pack, which included the Honey Rub, this Gospel All Purpose, and some other goodies. Rub with a holy cow. I'm glad I went with the three-pack option. The Gospel BBQ Rub has the perfect flavor balance: a hint of salt, a light bbq flavor, and a hint of sweetness at the end. I can see using Gospel on meat, eggs, vegetables, pizza, ribs, and anything else based on the taste test alone. It's really good!.
After sprinkling the ribs with brown sugar and spraying them with apple cider vinegar before wrapping them in aluminum foil, there was no need for BBQ sauce. The cost varies by store, but Amazon is the most convenient option.
It was used as a rub for a pork butt, and it was delicious! In the future, I plan to purchase additional meat church seasonings to try.
If you prefer more pepper, order Holy Cow for beef; Holy Cow is also a great spice blend for Bloody Marys.
That's a fantastic rub, to be sure. It has a wonderful aroma and flavor. It's not at all spicy. Pork goes well with it. I'm going to give it a shot with chicken.
