This is a hot mess that isn't a honey hog in the least. Don't buy if you're not a fan of extreme heat.
The heat will cool down a little, but if you like your ribs hot, this is the 'dog' for you! There's even a faint hint of honey, but don't rely on it; add the honey hog rub to round out the flavor.
I was given the incorrect rub at first. I emailed them, and they promptly corrected the error. The rub has a good kick to it and is flavorful. It also does not appear to be excessively salty. I'm excited to try it out this weekend on a pork butt. If I remember to do so, I'll post an update.
It's an absolute must-have.
So good! They also have some good instructional videos on how to use their seasonings most effectively.
My Meat Church thinks this is an excellent product. All of my pork cooks are seasoned with it.
Seasoning is perfect. One of my favorites when it comes to ribs and chicken.
