Is this a spicy rub? I'd like to use it in a pork butt, but I'm worried it'll be too spicy for the kids. But what about the kids who don't like spicy food?

I didn't think so, but I eat a lot of spicy foods and hot sauces. You could cut the butt in half and season the other half with this and other seasonings until you try it.

I only came across "killer bee chipolte," is this the "killer bee"?

I've never tried it, but it's not the same as killer bee, which is more yellow in color and smells like honey.

This sauce is fantastic with chicken

This rub was originally purchased to use on ribs. The flavor of the rub was somewhat drowned out after I added the bbq sauce. But it was incredible when I used it on chicken legs and cooked them in an indirect oven. These were the most delicious chicken legs I've ever cooked. The rub has a sweet and spicy flavor that complements the chicken perfectly. Even when cooking in an indirect oven, the sugar in the rub helped crisp up the skin.

I really like it. Last night, I ripped out two lines and was good to go for the rest of the evening! LOL! br>On a serious note, this music is killer! I bought it to use on pork ribs, but I've also used it on chicken and beef. Because it is sweet, it should be used sparingly on beef. Sweet and beef don't go together in my opinion. However, if you put just enough to entice your taste buds and think it could use a little more, you've got it just right; for pork and chicken, simply sprinkle it on.

It's a keeper, and it'll go well with your other rubs

Because pre-salting your ribs makes a big difference, don't salt them before rubbing them down with this rub. Aside from that, the flavor is excellent, albeit a little salty - Just a smidgeon. Is this something I'd like to order again? yes! Having said that, I enjoy trying new things, so I'll definitely give the different rubs a try, and hopefully I'll find more genuine reviews of other great rubs like mine on Amazon.

Would recommend to friends and family members and It has an incredible flavor

I've used it on a New York steak, pork chops, and even scalloped potatoes so far. This seasoning is a must-have. If I had one criticism, it would be that I wish it was a little spicier, but that is purely a matter of taste. I'd buy it again in general. I even sent some to a friend, who raved about how good it is in a Bloody Mary!.

This is my favorite time of year. This was brought to my attention by a coworker. It's been used by my coworker and me on everything from pork chops to chicken and streaks. I bake and grill a lot, but every now and then I crave something different, and boy did I get it this season. I'll be ordering it again in the near future. I just wish I could find it in the store I'm currently in.
