The first half has holes for dispensing, while the second half is small enough to spoon out.
I have no idea. I'd look up the manufacturer on nutrients and see what comes up. I am also concerned about sodium content in foods because I dislike salt, and this is the ideal flavor combination for me. It has a spiciness and sweetness to it.

NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED! This arrived to me in a state of disarray. When I opened the box, I discovered that it had been tampered with. I tried to file a return, but it said it couldn't be done! If it doesn't make it in one piece, I guess you're out of luck. It tastes good, but I don't think I'll be able to use it in this container!.
There hasn't been a single person who has expressed dissatisfaction with this rub. I'll even melt unsalted butter and mix it into the rub to make a thick syrup that I use to baste the meat with while grilling. Because the brown sugar tends to clump in this rub and cause clogging issues if used in a shaker with small holes, I gave it a 4/5 thickness rating. I don't have a problem because all I do is pour and rub my hands. br>br>I understand how difficult it is to buy rubs because you don't know how they taste and don't want to waste your money on a bunch of subpar rubs that will languish in your pantry for years. This isn't one of those rubs; if you're trying it for the first time, it'll be gone in a matter of weeks.
br>Purchased two more bottles, one for us and the other for my parents. Something wasn't quite right! We smelled nail polish remover as we applied the rub to our chicken, which was an odd smell for chicken rub. We sniffed both bottles to see if it was the rub that reeked of nail polish remover, and it was. We tried to ignore it, assuming that's how it should smell. Then we compared it to the scent of the first bottle we bought, and it smelled completely different. We are not sure what happened, but after becoming ill from it and smelling like nail polish remover, we will not purchase this rub again. If the rub has a chemical odor, don't use it! It is not to be used! And, based on what I've seen, there are no guarantees!.
It has a unique flavor that complements a variety of foods, including those that aren't meat-based. It's worth noting that this is a sweet rub with no kick, which I prefer. I've also mixed it with paprika, brown sugar, onion, and garlic powder to make a homemade rub. Ignore the price because this is a lot of rub, and using it as a base (as well as a standalone) extends its life. Modify it a little if you don't like how it's lacking in kick. Worth it.
My husband and I have different tastes; I prefer a little sweetness, while he prefers flavor, so this Pecan rub works for both of us. We bought another bottle, as you can see from this review, and will continue to do so because it is delicious!.
This dry rub is incredibly flavorful and versatile. Because of the low sodium content, it is safe and harmless, but it has a strong pecan smoked flavor that enhances the flavor of your meat. It went well with ribs, chicken, and other meats. Even after all these years, this rub is still a winner. It lacks heat, which can be remedied by incorporating cayenne pepper and pepper flakes into your rub. This is a rub I'll keep in my spice cabinet for a long time.
This provides the ideal surface for smoke to stick to. Unfortunately, I enjoy spicy food, and it falls short in this regard. There is no heat. A pinch of black or cayenne pepper will easily fix this.
I've used it to make pork chops and chicken breasts, and it's fantastic! I've also used it to cut potatoes into wedges with peppers and onions, then sprinkled half-way through with John Henry Pecan Rub before adding more potatoes, red-skinned. orange- onions, yellow peppers, and yellow peppers Before wrapping it in foil, add some more to the top. Halfway through the cooking time, flip the potato, pepper, and onion pack. It's absolutely delectable! To spice things up, I'll sometimes throw in some bacon. It's the most amazing seasoning I've ever tasted! "I'd put that seasoning on everything," my mother said (and I quote). "It's just that damn good!" It's a hit with my whole family!.
