Questions & Answers

How long does it have until it expires? There are none available at this time?

The one I had had none as well. Since it's dried in such a way that it doesn't go bad if you keep it in an airtight container, real Minnesota wild rice actually doesn't go bad. I have use the product when it is 5 years old and did not notice any change in taste. It may take longer to prepare food as you get older As a rule of thumb, the drier something is, the longer it takes to cook. Minnesota Wild Rice can be kept in an airtight container for a long period of time if it is kept in a dark cupboard or pantry. Over the Thanksgiving to New Years period, I use about 3 or 4 pounds of the product and another 3 or 4 pounds on a continuous basis As long as I don't lose a lot of weight in the pantry (5 years of storage on the back shelf), I generally go through my purchases

Wild rice like this is supposed to be called blonde wild rice?

I am looking forward to hearing from you. Blond wild rice is usually described as being a result of a longer, hotter parching process, in which the rice becomes lighter in color, but it also loses a lot of nutrients along the way. Rice we choose is a natural color in its natural state, not blonde - which is the only thing we do to it. Whenever we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is my pleasure to be considered for

Can you let me know when you expect this stock to expire?

When properly stored and kept free of contaminants, uncooked wild rice will stay fresh for an indefinite period of time. The best way to store wild rice is in a light and dry area in a tight container or bag.

The rice here is grown in a field?

Bineshii wild rice is harvested by hand from lake and river beds in and around northern Minnesota, and it is solidified with cedar wood and soy-free. It is parched.

The perfect combination of every aspect
5/5

This wild rice is the best I've ever eaten! My memories of wild rice from my childhood are filled with a longing for the real thing, when a gift of wild rice was considered a great It became cheaper to buy over the years, and it no longer tasted like it or looked like it when it was new. The knowledge that I purchased cultivated stuff is now clear to me. It wasn't until I saw it recommended on Amazon that I knew where to get the real thing. We received it quickly, and it smelled amazing when we opened it! Long and beautiful grains are found in this area. It was important to me to enjoy it in all its glory, so I prepared it plain, following a recipe. I love it! After I ate a bowl of it, my teen boys ate the rest. They added a little butter and salt. Now I'm going Moreover, I really like the fact that it is sustainable as well as harvested and processed in a We benefit from the care and love put into this product. I am thrilled to be able to support those who produce such a high quality and superior product for us!.

The food cooks in an extremely short period of time
3/5

As a side dish with the goose, I get real wild rice every year. There has never been a situation where it has been almost untouched before. Having said that, the product is probably fine, but I've never seen it get so soft so quickly after pre-heating The cooking process. The wild rice takes a bit of time to tenderize, so I always cook it a day or two before Add some sautéed aromatics and a few additions to it, then bake it for a short while. Well, after about 5 minutes of preheating As soon as it had been cooked, it had become Moreover, baking it gave it an even softer texture. My guess is it's a little mushy. In that case, you are probably in a good position to make it work. Keep an eye on yourself!.

A misleading picture of a product
3/5

Although it is Bineshi of average quality, it isn't very good nor is it In the picture of the product, you can see yellow colors, but that color is the highest quality and most expensive Bineshi referred to as Ghost Rice. I have attached a picture of the actual Bineshi that you ordered.

All things go with it
5/5

I want to ask you something, why would you eat white rice when you can have this wild rice? It is expensive, yes, but it feeds four people in a cup -- it is so delicious and filling. You can't put a finger on it, because it's hard to describe. It has a wonderful flavour. Wonderful flavor, I say again. Any roasted meats, particularly chicken, go well with it. It has a two-year shelf life, so there's no pressure to have a supply There is nothing like this foraged product, which is wild rice that has been harvested off federal lands. It is clean, without chemical contaminants. The product comes from a federal land. There is nothing to be disappointed about.

I found what I was looking for in this Wild Rice
5/5

As a result of spending a summer in Minnesota and trying many types of wild rice, I became a "wild rice snob. " Wild rice made with wood parched cannot be compared to those cheap bags of junk at the grocery store, and it cooks in 25 minutes.

It was delicious! I like this wild rice a lot! A few websites provide details about cooking wild rice
5/5

I soaked it well and rinseed it. In the end, I cooked all of the contents of the bag in a large pot with around 12 cups of water. There is water in the world. We boiled it for about 30 minutes, then covered and cooked it on medium low for another 30 minutes. You only need to verify that it is done. Since I read I could divide it into small batches and freeze it, I cooked it all. I want to give it a try. My favorite way to prepare it tonight was to throw some garlic, lemon, and shrimp in it. It was a big hit with my kids! You can count on me to buy it again!.

Quality of the highest order
5/5

There is no other wild rice to be found in Unlike online grocery stores, grocery stores have bricks and mortar. It tastes great and feels good on the tongue. I was able to cook it just as I wanted. It is an expensive product, but the quality of the product justifies it.
