ASIAN COOKING STAPLE - One of the most important ingredients in Asian cooking is sticky sweet glutinous rice. This large white grain rice is the star in everything from Filipino traditional sweets to Korean rice cake dishes, Japanese rice cakes, and Thai mango sticky rice.
TURNS INTO GLUTINOUS RICE FLOUR - When sweet rice grains are finely ground, they become glutinous rice flour, which can be used in Korean rice cakes, tteokbokki rice cakes, mochi, Asian desserts, and other homemade recipes.
THE HEALTHY OPTION - Celiac disease sufferers should choose this rice. Desserts, snacks, and dishes that are gluten-free can all be made with this Thai sweet rice. Vegans and vegetarians will enjoy the sticky rice, as well.
EASY TO COOK - Soak 1kg of sweet glutinous rice in cool water for 1-2 hours; the longer the rice grains are soaked, the more tender the rice grains will be when cooked. The water should then be drained. Cook the sticky rice in a steamer for 40 minutes or until it is done. Serve it with a dollop of coconut cream or milk and a tropical fruit of your choice.

Why is there an arsenic warning on the package? Did you receive one as well? Thanks?
I didn't receive an arsenic warning, so it's most likely a new law in the United States. I was aware that rice should be soaked for at least 24 hours to remove some of the arsenic. Brown rice is inferior to white rice in terms of nutritional value.
Is it rice that has been certified as organic?

It's a good sweet rice, but it's not as expensive as other brands

Because I have a digestive problem, I'm eating a lot of rice, and I've found that sticky rice is the easiest to digest; it's the cheapest rice on Amazon, and it tastes just as good as more expensive rice. br>br>I cook it in an instant pot, but I rinse the rice first and then pour it into a cake pan instead of directly into the instant pot. Since the traditional recipe calls for a bamboo steamer, I had never cooked sticky rice before and found this method foolproof.

Rice should be soaked and rinsed thoroughly. If you steam rice for 20 minutes, it works better than anything else. 25 min. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum,.
