I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Some people complained that they had received couscous that had passed their expiration date. I was desperate for this couscous, so I took a chance and placed an order. There is no problem with the expiration date.
There are two types of couscous: regular and pearl (also known as Israeli couscous). Regular couscous is very fine and requires different cooking techniques. The size of pearl coucous is the same across all brands. pasta from the Arab world
Selected User Reviews For Osem Israeli Pearl Couscous, Original, 8.8 Ounce (Pack of 4)
I recently discovered Israeli couscous at the age of 34, and I'm completely smitten! Because I can't find it anywhere else, I've turned to Amazon for help. I tried regular couscous with the tiny grains and found it to be a terrible texture. The Israeli couscous has a lot more substance and is a lot more enjoyable to eat!.
It's a nice change from "regular" couscous and a great substitute for rice or pasta. It's something I'd recommend, and I expect it to become a household favorite.
When the weather gets hot, I use it as the foundation for a tasty grilled chicken dinner. I pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts until they are very thin, then grill them for about 3 minutes before storing them in the refrigerator to eat throughout the week. When I first grill them, I make some cous cous with chopped tomatoes, a few chopped herbs, and a splash of chicken stock to keep it moist, which I serve alongside the freshly grilled chicken for a quick dinner.

I can't afford to purchase the (pearl) version of "Osem" couscous because I'm on a fixed income. More water and electricity are required for the (pearl) couscous. I wouldn't recommend selling the (pearl) version of any bran name couscous to any customer because it takes more time. I still strongly advise purchasing the 10 pound yellow "Osem" original plain couscous. a bag in white.
Make it once every two weeks. The texture reminds me of tapioca, which I've enjoyed since I was a child.
I found exactly what I was looking for.
This cous cous isn't your average grainy cous cous. It's more akin to round pasta, so it's easy to sink your teeth into. This is a nice change of pace from rice and cous cous.
