Are the nutritional values for dry lentils or lentils that have been cooked? I'm perplexed, and I'd like to keep track of my calories, but I can't seem to find any information. ?

I apologize for any confusion, but the nutrition facts are for dried lentils.

Is it possible to sprout lentils with these seeds?

Yes, this is possible. These are what I used to make lentil sprouts in mason jars.

Was roundup sprayed on them during the harvest?

You know, since Clearcreek is the grower, this is really a question for them. On the bag, there is no mention of growing methods. However, as a consumer who uses RoundUp to control weeds along my fence line, spraying the lentil plants with RoundUp would be counterproductive because it would kill them- even in the rows If you're wondering if overspray could have gotten to them, that's a question for the grower and their spraying practices to answer. There isn't an Amazon community here.

Lentils grown and harvested in the United States are a great choice

I've used about half of the bag for lentil salads and a side dish combination, and I've been very pleased with the freshness and flavor of this product, which cooks up nicely and stays fresh in its bag. The packaging has not caused me any issues. These lentils are far more flavorful than the lentils I bought in plastic bags from the supermarket.

The quality is poor

The size is smaller, and the taste and smell are poor. To begin with, I noticed that the lentils were the tiniest green lentils I'd ever seen. (I buy a lot, so this is important to me. )br>br>However, I tried it sprouted raw and boiled cooked several times. br>br>For whatever reason, the smell and taste in both cases were of poor quality. br>br>In this case, I'm glad I only purchased the smaller size. Because of the higher ratings from others, it's possible I got a bad batch.

These won't stay on the shelf for long. Everything from soup to tacos is made with it. We are very pleased with the product and plan to try more of their products in the future.
