In my experience, I never had any problems with the guar gum having lumps or becoming bubbly in a high powered blender when I put it into a smoothie recipe. The amount I use for a large size smoothie is 1 1/2 teaspoons.
It came in a bag and there is just gluten free, no Kosher information displayed.
