Questions & Answers

Is the bottle packaged in the company's trademark beige box with an orange band around it?

The bottle will be delivered in the manner depicted in the photograph.

What kind of maple syrup is this? According to what I've read, the FDA mandates that all maple syrup producers clearly label their products' grade. ?

I don't remember seeing a grade on the bottle, and I've already used and discarded it. You might be able to see it on the page's image. But, in my opinion, it's an A, if only because it's organic and, in my opinion, preferable to white sugar in my coffee and other foods/drinks. Because the FDA isn't always concerned with people, I don't care what the FDA "requires." If they ask for something, it's probably to boost their "bottom line." Buy it; you won't be disappointed, though I prefer the Trader Joe's brand. And these were the first two bottles I purchased. I haven't used syrups in a long time.

Is this a B-graded item?

The bottle does not have a letter grade. USDA organic, estate grown, and artisan quality are all listed on the bottle. I can attest to the fact that it is delectable. After tasting it, we couldn't imagine going back to regular maple syrup.

It costs $26 to do so. For one bottle, the price is $99, but for two bottles, the price is $6 Is it really 99 dollars for two bottles?

What's the deal with $14? Costco charges $99 for a single bottle?

$14
4/5

Costco sells them for $99. I've tried a few other Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrups, and this is one of the best. Because it's aged in a bourbon cask rather than being mixed with bourbon, the bourbon flavor is subtle, as other reviewers have noted. The real issue is that $32 is a complete and utter rip-off. The same LTD Edition syrup can be purchased for $14 at Costco. Except for the Amazon price, it's a mass-produced product with no flaws.

Robust?
3/5

I made the mistake of buying two Crown Maple Syrup with Robust Flavor Bourbon Barrel Aged LTD Edition 25 FL OZ bottles. The first was for my family, and the second was a gift for my favorite person and her family. Yes, it is delivered in a thick cardboard box, nice and secure in the exterior Amazon box. I never saw it at Costco, but I was persuaded by the numerous raving reviews with mentions of it being sold and disappearing from Costco shelves, repeat purchasers, and the appealing company website. Yes, the bottle is shaped like a top-hat. Bottle of bourbon or whiskey with a classic bottle label and a sealed plastic stopper on the shelf. True, the glass is thick and heavy, deserving of being placed at eye level so it's easily visible when the refrigerator door is opened (refrigerate after opening) and easy to grab when you're ready to mix into a cocktail, include in a recipe, or use as a syrup for pancakes, waffles, or French toast; however, the syrup is thin in viscosity, not much thicker than bourbon itself, perhaps a shade darker, and it's not It does, however, have a distinct bourbon flavor from being aged in used wood bourbon barrels, which is a pleasant addition. This does not make up for the fact that the bottle's/box's initial visual impression is superior to the maple syrup's overall flavor. I'm only going to talk about the bottle we got, not the one I sent as a present. I can only assume they were from the same batch because they were both purchased within two minutes of each other and sent from the same location. The only difference was that mine was sent via UPS truck and traveled across the country for several days, whereas the other was sent via airplane and only traveled for one day. I'm hoping for a bourbon barrel-aged experience. Because of the aging process and the packaging costs for this final product, I expect aged maple syrup to be more expensive, but I'm afraid I'll have to give it an average rating for the price of this maple syrup I received.

Delicious, but is it really a Limited Edition? Except for what I've written below, I'd give it 5 stars
4/5

br>I like this syrup, but I'm not sure what makes it a Limited Edition bottle that costs more than a similar-sized bottle WITHOUT the neck tag. It appears to be the same syrup at a lower price, so I wouldn't pay the extra money for the limited edition UNLESS there is a significant difference that I am unaware of. Also, how come two bottles cost $62 and three bottles cost $99, but one bottle costs only $26? 3x26=78 and 2x26=52, respectively, according to math. So, how do they come up with the prices for the two and three pack?.

Maple syrup has become my new "go to" item
5/5

This maple syrup, which has been aged in bourbon barrels, has a distinct flavor that, in my opinion, sets it apart from other maple syrups I've tried. It is not, however, inexpensive. Because I only use it occasionally, I'm willing to pay a higher price for the flavor. I'm not sure I'd choose this item if I needed to use a large quantity for some reason. Only your personal preferences will determine whether or not this syrup is worth the premium item price; however, it is good enough that giving it a try is a good idea.

A plastic cap has been substituted for the cork stopper
3/5

When I went to purchase a bottle of Crown maple syrup, I noticed that the cork stopper had been replaced with a plastic screw-on cap. The plastic cap on my purchase had been damaged and was obscured by the wrapper. br>Even though the product is marketed as a premium item, you've degraded its quality by using a lower-quality cap and still refuse to follow U. Syrup is labeled according to the Department of Agriculture's labeling system, which follows international grade and color standards. br>br>At such a high selling price, this demonstrates management's utter lack of judgment.

To begin with, this maple syrup is excellent
4/5

To begin with, this is an excellent maple syrup with a distinct caramel/vanilla flavor. It'd be one of the best maple syrups I've ever tasted here in Wisconsin. However, I believe you will be disappointed if you are looking for a strong Bourbon flavor. It's very subtle, and if you weren't looking for it, you'd miss it. This bottle has a nice appearance and would make a great gift.

When friends come over, I have to hide the Maple Syrup! The Bourbon Barrel treatment has added a lot of flavor
5/5

I have to hide the bottle when I have friends or extended family over for pancakes. They used a full 25 oz. of it once. When one person tried it, others were inspired to try it as well. The bottle was completely dry in 45 minutes. Simply put, it has a lot of flavor. Maple Syrup with a higher sugar content than regular Maple Syrup. I strongly suggest it.

This syrup is absolutely fantastic
5/5

Because of the ageing process, this is a high-end maple syrup with a hint of bourbon. We bought our first bottle at Costco, but it vanished from the shelves in a month, like so many other items at Costco, so we have to pay a lot more here. Maybe we'll have to make our own version of this with Trader Joe's Maple Syrup and some Bulleit.
