It is a great product and I have no problem with it whatsoever. Just like the taste of a raw peanut is quite different from a toasted peanut, if you have never had raw peanuts you might not know about their difference. As far as freshness and quality go, I give them a 5-star rating. If you add a little olive oil to make it stick, you can add seasoning. Additionally, they can be toasted in a fry pan and dipped in an egg wash when they are toasty. My goal these days is to buy non GMO products, so every time I shop I look for non GMO labels both in the store and online in California, they are required to list this by law now, so we all benefit since the label will only appear once regardless of the state. I'm a nut so I really appreciated these seeds. The package was delivered in a timely manner. This large bag contains 44 ounces. They cost less than other brands, but I am not sure what the price was. There will be more for me to eat when I eat these.
