It has now been two times that I have ordered them. As soon as I received the first shipment, it looked like it had been stored in a flooded factory, the packaging was disgusting, and the expiration date was 14 days from today. It was a second order I recently received after giving it a shot again. It was a relief to find that the box was pristine. There are now 6 days left before the seeds expire. I expect to have a little bit of time prior to the expiration date when I buy in bulk. Refunds are not available for this item.
As for the shell, it consists of Those roasted seeds with sea salt are so yummy and addictive! I will order more of them this week, but this time I will pace myself a bit when eating them. OH, and did I mention that their food is so good!.
My husband and I bought a bag of these at Walmart and loved them so much, but when we went back for more, they were out, not knowing if or when they would get more, so we went to Amazon. com. That is so disappointing to me. In spite of their expiration date being over 4 months away, they're sort of There is no crunch, and the taste is bland. Sorry I ordered 8 bags so many times and even embarrassed to share them with friends who gushed about how delicious they were.
As a Valentine's Day gift, I ordered these for my wife. Our diet is Keto and she can eat nuts, so pumpkin seeds have become one of our go-to snacks. We have a hard time finding these in our region. It's about 2 months before they expire and I might be ordering every 2-months from now on.
This is a taste that you can enjoy as a treat or with a salad. It has good size and texture with a moderate amount of salt.
For years, I had been buying the pumpkin pepitas from David at decided to buy in bulk on Amazon since I would buy in bulk. There is something different about their taste that I am not sure of. After eating these I noticed a weird aftertaste. They have an expiration date for July 2021 I bought them I would have finished them before the expiration date because I'm in Keto and I enjoy these because they replace chips with crunch and salt. I wonder if it was because they were so close to expiring that they tasted different from the ones I buy at my local grocery store. Something was off with the flavor, which is too bad since I need these for Leto and bulk buying is awesome.
I found something else that was more reasonable.
Dietary supplements are a good idea. Nutritionist recommended these seeds as being good for us ( not a specific brand). Her favorite flavor was regular with salt, and she didn't like the regular without salt. As far as she was concerned, this one was acceptable. This is what I have tried and the online versions as well. In this pandemic, finding the item through other grocery stores online order is difficult. Amazon has them, but we have been able to find them there.
