I did buy a 5 pound bag since I liked the freshness and flavor. Also, $49 sounds a little high but the quality food you will be putting in your body doesn't come cheap. Each day before dinner, I have a beer and a couple handfuls of pistachios, and I give to the squirrels in my yard the really tough ones that I cannot open, so they do not damage my nails or teeth trying to do it. It's been weeks since I received these pistachios, and the squirrels have been hungry ever since. The ones I've opened so far are very easy to open, since they aren't for my little friends. . . .
