Protein can be found in abundance in bugs. For added flavor, some people choose to roast them. The bug will not be charged extra.
In fact, all salt is made up of sodium chloride, which comes from the sea. The salt that has been deposited on land came from the sea. When you buy salt, it's all sea salt; pink salt, on the other hand, is similar to sea salt but contains additional minerals, particularly iron, which gives it its pink color. Salt is one of my favorite ingredients.
At 16 oz., it's a bit of a splurge. This amounts to 2 pounds of pistachios per pound. Warning: I've been buying this brand for a long time and they've always been good. Until about two months ago, I had not received them. They weren't "bad" in the sense that they were spoiled, but they were bland and tasteless. Quite unusual. Since then, I haven't purchased any, and I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue.
Yes, but I would advise against purchasing these Pistachios. They're small, many of them are vintage, and they're secondhand!

I discovered a bug in a pistachio and am certain there are others. I don't mind if they're dark in color as long as they're edible. This, on the other hand, is vile.
In many stores, Wonderful appears to be the only brand available, and they used to be truly wonderful- Nuts that are large, fresh, and light green in color, with very few exceptions. However, this is no longer the case. For the past year or so, every bag has seemed to be stuffed with either small oddly shaped nuts or, even worse, about one-third of a pound of large nuts. The nuts are rotten or partially rotten in one-third of the cases. Almost every nut I open has a layer of dark brown crud on the outside; once I scrape it off with my fingernail, there's not much left of the nut, and in some cases, the brown crud extends all the way through. What happened? I ended up throwing out about half the bag, which is a lot of money considering you have to pay for both the shells and the nuts. Before packaging the nuts, Wonderful (the company) needs to conduct some serious quality control and discard all of the bad nuts. Customers should not be forced to deal with Not-for-profit organizations. Pistachios are fantastic. They've been on my Subscribe list for a while now. I'll save for a few years, but I'm going to cancel my order.
I used to get my pistachios from Costco, and the store brand is fantastic, always large and fresh. However, it will set you back about 20 more. Because of my greed, I purchased this pack on Amazon: How could it go wrong if it was 40 less from a reputable brand ? After I tried it, I realized it was a complete disaster. I suddenly realized why the Costco ones are so much better. What you pay for is exactly what you get. The first image depicts the small size of the nuts, and the color indicates their age. I estimate that the year 2015 was rotten and inedible. I'm a 100% disappointed person. I put the blame on myself and threw out the entire set. What good is it to send them back? Is the next victim going to be poisoned? No, but I'd like you to take a lesson from me and stay away from this situation. Costco has them, so get yours today and stay healthy.
I just received these, and they are the worst I've ever had. They're a mix of burnt and old or something, but they're rotten. I was planning on subscribing and bookmarking these, but I decided against it. There will be no more.
For the first time in my life, I refused to eat a pistachio because it contained a worm. I may have eaten some that I wasn't aware of, but this was revolting.
It appears that Amazon customers are receiving subpar goods because returning them is a hassle.
Typically, they have a one-year expiration date. I've tried several brands and my favorite is Wonderful Pistachios, which are just the right amount of crunchy and lightly salted. There is no such thing as too much. Pistachios from other brands are usually saltier or have a more buttery flavor, but these are perfect! These are a great deal at Amazon for an oz bag. Grocery stores always charge more for these, regardless of brand. After opening the bag, I usually roll it up and secure it with a rubber band or clip before storing it in a large zip-top bag. To keep things fresh, seal the bag. It would be more convenient if the manufacturer began producing these bags with resealable tops.
As always, there is a chance that not all the nuts will be 100% perfect. They are small and impossible to inspect individually so just like It's essentially the same as buying fruit (but safer), except there's a chance you'll get a surprise insect or the least sweet of the bunch. So, while I can't say there haven't been any surprises, I am generally pleased with the quality of these pistachios! br>br>Go get 'em, crack 'em, and eat 'em!.
This brand used to be good and had a good pepper flavor, but the last three bags have been 15-pound bags. 20% shells without kernels and no kernels and no kernels and no kernels That may explain the low price, but it's disappointing that this brand's quality control has recently deteriorated so drastically.
