These are not the same flavor as "sweet chili" and I have been trying to find the newer flavors without shells for quite some time, but I have not been able to Having both is what I have experienced many times. It is true that these are very tasty but the "Sweet Chili" (black/red packaging) is one of the best. As well as being more spicy, these are also more aromatic. It was only a matter of time before I became a fan. I really like them, and I think they would go really well with a salad. The next time you have the chance, I strongly recommend that you try a spicy salad.
It is important for me to keep the shells on them, and I dislike taking them out of their shells, as most people do. I was a bit weary when I saw these because I have tried other brands of unshelled pistachios before and they have all been dried out/over-roasted You roasted it. The truth is that these weren't at all like that! They were just perfect in terms of consistency, not dried out, and the texture was fantastic. Nevertheless, I didn't think I would be able to eat these since they are so incredibly salty. It actually took me about 4 bags to finish off and throw out the rest. In 1/4 of a cup of these, you'll get 220mg salt (that's 11% of your daily allowance! What the heck, holy There should definitely be more flavor and spice in these, and the sodium should be reduced. The sad part is that they don't, because otherwise, they would be wonderful.
I found the chili flavor to be extremely strong, which eclipsed the flavor of the pistachios (which are not inherently bland). You can't get enough chili flavor if you're the type of person who practically drinks Sriracha and cannot get enough different kinds of chili flavor, so these flavors are dangerously good. It was so bad that I had to start buying the 22 oz bags from Amazon because I was running out of the 5 oz bags. I have been buying 5 oz bags from my grocery store far too fast.
