It doesn't "contain nuts," as the name implies. They're a bunch of whackos. Pecans. ARE. 100% NUTS! 100% TREE NUTS! 100% TREE NUTS! 100% TREE NUTS! 100% TREE NUTS! 100%%
well. The bag doesn't last long because they're so tasty. However, if you're referring to the shelf-life of a product, It should last at least a couple of weeks; I've left mine out for weeks and they've been fine; if you refrigerate a portion, it should last months; if you freeze it, it could last years.
No way! The following are the ingredients: filtered water, pecans, and Redmond sea salt Please note that the ingredients are not listed. In the year 2020, we will re-list the properties. PecanShop, David. com
I've never heard of walnuts being soaked in lye to remove their shells. I'm not sure whether or not this is accurate.

I had frozen these pecans for later use, and today I chopped them in my vitamix to use in a recipe, only to discover that there had been a tiny desiccant pack mixed in with the pecans that I had not noticed. The inedible material in the paper dessicant pack, which also had the word "danger" on it, has rendered these nuts completely useless. Shame on you! A dessicant packet has never been found in any packaged nuts that I've ever seen. The irony is that I had previously tasted a nut and found it to be absolutely delicious. What a letdown!.
Pecans are one of my favorite nuts, but I have a very sensitive system, and nuts can cause joint and gut pain. My doctor recommended sprouted nuts, so I was thrilled to discover this product, which is sprouted, organic, and salted with nutritional whole mineral salt. It's pretty much the best there is! They're tasty and don't make me nauseous. br>br>The only problem I have with these nuts is that there were a lot of shell fragments in the bag. It wasn't a big deal, and I'll probably do it again. br>br>Overall, this was an excellent purchase and now I am re-ordering from this company. br>br>However, I did not think it was particularly good for a product this expensive; for this price, it would have been better if it had been absolutely perfect. br>br>Overall, this was an excellent purchase and now I am re-ordering from this company. I placed an order for pecans and added their walnuts to it.
It's easily twice the price of the "warehouse stores" for two pounds of pecans, but none of them, including our great health food store in town, have organic, sprouted, or raw seeds. The perfect amount of sea salt, great texture, delicious flavor, and quick shipping! Ours arrived in bubble wrap, which was very nice. Remember this as well: br>br> There are no growth sprays on these because they are organically grown. If you're used to the massive ones from the warehouse or grocery store, you're used to Frankenfoods (and I'm not talking about Al). Many thanks to David and his family for some fantastic products!.
It says I've ordered this item seven times, and I haven't had any issues or problems in any of the seven bags. Every single pecan in each of the seven bags was delicious. They're a little smaller than what you'd find at the supermarket, but that doesn't bother me in the least. I'll gladly accept that in exchange for the assurance that these haven't been sprayed with unidentified chemicals. br>br>The bag in which they are shipped is fantastic. aids in the preservation of all of the delicious flavors they have to offer. I've taken about 4 months to finish an entire bag, and even then, I just kept it in my pantry, tightly sealed. The pecans did not go bad in any way. They will be fine as long as you keep the air out of them. br>br>Overall, I am very pleased with this product, and it will be the only one I order in the future.
They're tastier and easier to digest than roasted or plain raw pecans because of the soaking, salting, and drying process. I've ordered them before, and I've just placed an order for a second two-pound bag. My family also enjoys the "crispy" almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds sold by this company. Also, excellent customer service.
Pecans and walnuts in their raw form taste dry and flat to me. As a result, the flavor of these pecans astounded me. The low-temperature dry salting is perfect, with a long-lasting flavor envelope and a buttery aftertaste. I don't usually do reviews. Writing them is a chore for me. I'm kicking myself, though, because I forgot the pecans at work. Just to prove that not all of their pecans are this good, I'll order another bag. It's simply not possible. Without a doubt.
I'd strongly suggest it!.
br>br>For the past month, I have been soaking and drying nuts. I was considering purchasing a food dehydrator because my toaster oven required 90-minute restarts over the course of the day to achieve the desired drying time of 12 hours. I also decided to look for good quality nuts, and I was surprised to find a company that was soaking and low-temperature drying a variety of nuts using the method advocated by the Weston Price Foundation. br>br>I wasn't sure how I felt about the price, but I wanted to try the nuts to see how they tasted so I could compare them to my own. The nuts, on the other hand, have just arrived and are absolutely delicious. They're a little more expensive than Whole Foods' bulk raw organic pecans ($16) at close to $20 per pound. Now, I know Whole Foods isn't known for its low prices, but it's the only store in my area that sells bulk organic pecans. I could drive a much longer distance to get a better deal, but then there are the additional costs to consider. br>br>I consider a few extra dollars to be a reasonable price to pay for a product prepared exactly how I want it prepared, especially one with such an exquisite taste; it is also clear from the taste of these nuts that they have been stored properly and handled with care from harvest to packaging. In the flavor or smell, there was no trace of rancidity.
