In the wrong place, it should have read There are very few manufacturers who have symbols for half or quarter. There's nothing confusing about it at all and I agree, they should have simply said 24 oz. I agree.
There is a statement on the website Raw nuts are not processed, refined or altered in any way. Steam has become the preferred method of pasteurization of almonds and other tree nuts because unlike PPO, steam does not change the flavor of the product. The industry is aware that PPO must be abandoned as a method because consumer awareness is increasing and criticism of the procedure is increasing.
On the package, it says it's not meant for consumption This product doesn't seem to be GMO, so I assume it is.

It was good to chew on the pecans, but about a third of the whole package consisted of nothing but pecan dust. I hope all of the pecans are not dusty like that. This product has worked well for me in the past, but I would like to try it again.
Take note of Regardless of how pecans are judged, it is important to keep in mind Until the end of January. South Florida picks its grapes this time of year. We consider any nuts over a year old to be this season's pick, even if they are brand new. This is the result of my As we received these in late Sept, and that they have some aging going on, the nuts are still very good. There are no dried out shriveled nuts in the bag, minimal oxidization ( darkening of color) and quite large pieces most would qualify as wholes. Despite the sweet taste, there is no bitter taste at all. You are doing a very good job.
The pecan taste is evident from the taste of these, which is quite decent. There are times when I find hard shells in the mix and I chomp on them, so I gave it three stars instead of five. As a result, I don't check my nuts before candying them, so this is really frustrating. After taking a big bite out of a giant shell, I hurt my jaw pretty badly. Obviously, no brand can be perfect, but I have honestly never had this problem with any other brand. I will probably continue to purchase this brand because the value is beyond compare and I am a big fan of pecans.
I originally rated this bag as a good one because the first one was fine. It's really bad news in the second bag I received. There is a bitter taste to nuts and/or they taste chemical. Wasted! I had to dispose of it! While I kept hoping there were just a few bad nuts, it was throughout the entire bag, and I wasn't in the mood to continue Make sure you are careful when you buy.
It is unlikely I will buy these again in a long time, but instead I will buy the same brand of pecan halves. It wasn't just that some of the surfaces of the chopped pecans had discoloration, but in a few bites I had to spit out a moldy flavor. The whole bag came out very well by toasting them. They are more flavorful and there are In any case, the whole halves of pecans have a better flavor and are easier to toast. When it comes to chopping, you don't have to do much, where needed, to get the desired results.
I did separate out the pieces with a small hole colander so that these are all crumbs. I saw about a cup and a half of crumbs at the bottom of the bag. 16% of the crumbs are there! The quality of the product is not good. I am not sure if this is common or if I received the last bag on the production line, but there are a lot It's likely I can find a recipe for the crumbs but since I ordered pieces, I can't.
Costco is usually where I buy my pecans, but with all the panic shopping they were sold Several people have complained about the taste and that there is too much "nut dust" in the bag in some of the reviews on here. I liked the Nut Pieces that were provided and thought that they tasted very similar to the ones from Costco. However, there was not much wasted. In a ziploc bag I put them, and they are stored in my freezer until I am ready to use them for baking cookies or granola.
Oh my gosh! Pecans I have ever eaten are by far the best I've tasted. My family has used the brand that I have used for many years, and I thought that it would be my one & only choice before purchasing Nature's Eat Pecan Pieces The only one. In my order for the former brand, my attention was caught by the packaging, the size, and the condition Since it was free, I figured I would give it a try. I like it because of the freshness and the taste Tastes like they just came out of the shell because they are crisp. Hands down, it is a winner!.
