Similar to bucket 2, I purchased this one as well. Back then, it was 2005. For the ORIGINAL McDonald's style fries, I used a half bucket of tallow and 10% Peanut Oil in my deep fat fryer. My freezer was full of the rest of them, which I kept frozen in bags. As I thaw out tallow whenever I need it, I am now using the last of this tallow in my fryer. The best way to cook fries is to cook them at 350 degrees and then put them in after they have dried The amount of oil that is taken in will be very low. The health benefits of tallow and peanut oil are well documented. The tallow used for this project is excellent and has lasted for a long A new bucket is on its way to me
In looking at the label, I couldn't see where it said that the beef was organic fed. Only one thing I see that this says is the "finest quality". The soap making equipment I purchased is not yet used because that is the reason I purchased it. My usual soap is made with my own tallow. I wanted to try something different and this product looked good and it clearly states that it is "greener." Just curious how my soap would turn out using another type of tallow since I do not normally make my own. I went to the website, but I did not find anything stating organic
The measurement of one gallon in "fluid ounces" would be 128 ounces. The dry weight of a gallon (128 fl oz) of water is 128 oz. The label claims that the gallon of tallow weighs 128 ounces, but I don't believe that's correct since tallow is less dense than water.

Many people may find it hard to accept but that's the reality. Ten thousand years ago, people ate this as a staple of their diet. The obesity, cancer, and other chronic disease epidemics began after it was rejected by some really bad science. Put an end to those industrial seed oils to get back on your feet. There's cow fat in here. During the first 10,000 years of those periods our ancestors used similar tools. There is an established testimony from fossil records that mammoth fat was used for at least In that time, the genetics of humans evolved to what they are today. It was the quintessential human health food, to which we contributed our version of Tallow. Buffalo was once a favorite food of the healthy plains Indians of America.
I have updated The stuff that we saw This is what has been happening up to Three gallons have just been delivered to me. When they reach 70 degrees Fahrenheit, they become liquid. In the case of legitimate beef tallow, they should not be. have tried calling the toll free number on the label, and it is no longer in service. I will look for another The following are the latest updates In the attachment, you can see that I provided a screenshot of the response I received from the supplier, telling me that not all of their tallow is the same, so what I received was My Amazon search led me to a new source. The next time I see it, I'll buy it. This is a review from a while ago I love what I'm seeing. The Canola Oil I used was just a mystery oil I've since learned that it is not a canola oil at all. In the end, I switched to rice bran oil, which is an excellent oil for frying, but this tallow adds a taste that cannot be duplicated. There have been tons of amazing things I have fried, such as tortilla chips, jalapenos, chorizo, french fries, and more. Using oil for frying is no longer an option for me.
In a case such as this, there should be absolutely no reason to separate the content from the container. After 50 minutes I received my bucket and found that, at 65 degrees Fahrenheit, it had the consistency and texture In the same cool spring temperatures and left to settle overnight, the product now has pools of liquid, and the more solid bits are as mushy as lumpy mayonnaise. That is not the way tallow behaves.
People who are familiar with what tallow is and how it feels will know that this is not it. A solid at room temperature, beef tallow is made from fat. I believe this is some kind of scam. There will not be a future purchase for this item.
The Amazon description claims that the beef is grass-fed, but that is not true. I don't see any mention of grass-fed beef in this article. On Amazon, it is possible to mislead customers by reading the item description.
Added an update. I got the opposite of what I expected! It was originally rated 1 star and I gave it the following review. This has been heated up to 250 degrees F, so I am updating it the way it is. When the moisture was boiled off, the tallow cooled to a beautiful white solid. So I have changed my rating and actually am quite pleased with this product now that I've had my "fix" applied! The oil in this picture is not This fat arrived in a cold Ohio winter, but it must be solid at room temperature despite the mild temperatures. This is not the case. Like cottage cheese, it has a creamy consistency. The no returns mess I have here is an absolute disaster that I have no idea what to do with it! It is the buyer's responsibility to take precautions. It's possible that some people get tallow from this site, but looking at the reviews it's clear that many of us have gotten this "STUFF". My disgust grows stronger by the day!.
There was then a serious problem when some of these changes caused trans-fats to be substituted for the animal fat The cheap oil that was once believed to be healthier and cheaper had proved far from it in the end. Yet fast-food chains have never been able to go back to beef It is still traditional to prepare fries in the North of France and Belgium with beef tallow, where I was born and raised. The oil has a higher smoking point (500F) than most oils, so it can be used to fry at higher temperatures without being as dangerous. As is the case with most oils, I had reservations about purchasing it since it is a full gallon, 8lbs of fat and the price is not cheap compared Nevertheless, I took the leap and I am not sorry I did. Whenever I can, I now eat delicious home made fries.
It's Non-GMO food The beef fat is not GMO, nor is it hydrogenated, it is just some basic, quality fat. I don't make candles, so I won't dwell on it any further. You can also use it to make candles, but I do not, so I won't elaborate further. *As a conclusion, let me say this The stars are 5 out of 5.
The fussiest birds ever to freeload at a feeder have requested "gourmet" suet cakes from me. Even though most of them will (non-noblelly) eat purchased suet cakes, others will just come by and check out what's in the suet feeder and fly away again in case the suet there isn't good. Since I did not have a local source for beef suet, I used to render it myself. To do that, I called ahead and had the butcher package up a big pile of fat, then I went after work and got it, mashed it, heated it, and packaged it. Having to do that much work for what didn't amount to much in the end is a lot of work. However, after explaining to the butcher what I did with the fat, he thought it was a great gesture for the birds and ground the fat for me, saving me time, but I still had to do it myself. To see whether anyone sells food on Amazon just for fun, I checked to see if anyone sells it Tallow that wasn't expensive but was still of high quality. Then, lo and behold, I found it and not in tiny amounts That's not happening- This is a bucket that weighs 8 pounds! The suet cakes were quickly put together, and the time it took me to make them was greatly reduced!.
