The grade of coarseness was okay. I used this to add to cereal, and, therefore, the grind was no problem for me.
Instead of having it in milk, I add it to healthy cereal or nonfat, low sugar greek yogurt. Friends let it stand in milk until semi-solid before taking I add it to my oatmeal in the winter.
There is no USDA organic label on the product, but I'm not sure for sure. Those fields are farmed with chemical fertilizer if they have this label. In addition to its organic product line, Bobs carries a USDA organic line

The good news is that you're doing great too! It's a labor of love for me to bake the bread we eat, and I try to make it better for us all the time. The oat bran I use in my breads is organic. As it is toasted, it gives off a delicate crispness. This ingredient contains a high level of protein, and it does not make bread hard in the same way as other proteins. Among all the oat bran I have found, this one has the best flavor. With the delicately sweet taste, I can stir a big spoonful into my greek yogurt or even a pudding and still enjoy the toothsome texture and delicious taste. As a product, it has a great value when compared to rival brands. My husband adds it to his food daily because of its regulating effects.
