I keep it in the packaging it comes in until I'm ready to use it. Snap top kitchen containers hold about 2lbs of material. They are made from plastic and have snap-on lids. I can use that for about 4 months before I have My guess is that it would last at least two years if you keep it free of pests.

In the end I decided that even if it is just mediocre, it would be okay to mix it As a result, I've been drinking it straight with water, reducing the amount of time spent feeding (and getting it to taste clean)! I can honestly say that this is the cleanest, freshest and smoothest oat powder I have ever had! I commend Pike Global Foods for their efforts! This bag made no exception when it came to quality. It almost seemed like the bag had teleported into my apartment. The order was shipped in 15 minutes and I received an email showing it had been shipped! It arrived the next day at my door! I'd rate it a solid 5 stars, even though it's not the most popular thing on my mail lady's list of favorites! I am happy with my purchase!.
The bag I bought lasted me for almost 5 months without going bad, since I eat a cup per day in my morning shake. Taking the extra precaution of transferring the flour into a second gallon bag is all I did As a result, I can open the 50lb bag as little as possible to prevent oxygen from getting into the bag.
I would like to congratulate you on a fantastic purchase! When I purchased this, I bought it so I could make cookies for my three dogs. Today is the first day I have made the first batch of cookies from this oat flour. We had a great time working with you and the treats my girls enjoyed were delicious. I loved how fine and soft the flour was, and how delicious it smelled. As soon as I buy a 50lb bag of cashew nuts, I plan on using it in my baked goods.

It is great to find oat flour that tastes this good. As I use this to make my own, homemade Soylent (food powder) recipe, I couldn't resist buying the 50lb bag. I had been experimenting with different ingredients for the past four months and even adapted my Soylent to taste like the (current) official version1. I made a version of The Seven, which was good but a chore to make because it used so many ingredients and wasn't cost effective. I switched to oat flour because it was a whole food, and had carbs, proteins, and fats already contained in it. The price is pretty good as well, and the quality is good. The only thing I can hope is that they stay in business as long as I continue to drink Soylent. My reliance on this food sources will not be ending anytime soon, for the following reasons A) it is cheap B) I am lazy C) it meets my nutritional needs D) I don't like having to figure out where the food comes from.
