There is no way I can describe how good this lavender flavoring is. An avid baker, I enjoy baking a lot. The price is a bit steep for a great product, but at more than $8 per ounce (yes, it is per ounce), it took practically pulling out my eyeballs to shell out $16 for this extract, but due to the reviews, I took the plunge. This flavor is to die for, and I can only assure you that you will love it. I would describe it as mild, but distinct, and not soapy at all. I had a deliriously delicious meal. The lavender extract and the ground Angustifolia Lavender were used in making these lavender butter cookies. After trying the apple pie with my husband, he said it tasted fantastic, but he did not know what flavor it was. I couldn't believe it at first when he found out it was lavender. Listen to what I have to say. If this man is an adult I love food that is rich in flavor, particularly meat, gravy, and potatoes. If they say Lavender is amazing, you know it must be something wonderful!.
The flavor is very pleasant and delicate. Trying to determine how much extract would be enough without overpowering the cake, I searched all over the internet. went through a process of adding 1/4 tsp at a time until I ended up with what I think is a reasonable rule When a recipe calls for 1 tsp of vanilla extract, you can replace it with one teaspoon of this extract.
We had lavender lemonade tea for a delicious afternoon treat.
This is a very clean, potent blend. This lavender flavoring adds a fresh taste to my coffee drink. I blend french press coffee with organic grass fed butter, ketogenic creamer, and collagen. I get a taste of pure lavender when I use the extract.
Lavender cheesecake, white chocolate lavender scones, French vanilla lavender muesli, and black raspberry lavender scones have been made by me already. It can be substituted for vanilla or you can add it in when your recipe calls for it. Make sure you don't consume too much so that you stay safe!.
There is no easy way to cook with lavender. The lavender flavor of this extract is very distinctive. There is no limit to the amount you can do.
Lavender is the best product on the market for food use and of excellent quality. The only one I have stayed with after trying others is this one. Buying a whole case of them was the best decision I ever made. Thanks a lot!.
While it is expensive, I found it tasted really good in the frosting I made. There's no need to use too much either, a little goes a long way.
