These are tasty, but I think you'll need more powder than the recipe calls for to get truly creamy scrambled egg-like eggs. But if you use like 25% more powder than specified in the instructions and create a thick slurry instead of the watery thin one specified in the instructions you can get some very% In any case, the flavor is good. It's a little inconvenient in terms of packaging. Because the package cannot be resealed once opened, you must place the remainder in a ziplock bag to keep it fresh. It would be nice to be able to mix in the bag, but because of the bag's shape, size, and material, mixing becomes extremely difficult, and you end up with a lot of 'clots' of unmixed powder. You can get good mixing and results if you mix vigorously outside of the bag. The resulting 'paste' is sticky and gets all over everything, and it's not the easiest to clean, but there's no way to get these good eggs from a dry product otherwise, so these minor flaws can be easily overlooked.

It's very easy to mix with water and there are no lumps. On our trip, we made camp food breakfasts out of the powder by adding dehydrated mushroom, green peppers, onion, and cheese. Cooks up just like regular scrambled eggs and tastes exactly the same. They have a better flavor than real eggs, according to my husband.
